I purchased a new Dell laptop computer (a PC) and followed the directions on Apple's site on how to move your iTunes library over to the new computer via an external drive. The music moved over but no playlist and no other information such as play counts, etc. I uninstalled the newest iTunes and reinstalled the previous version and the same thing happened. If you do, follow these steps and try to connect your device again after each step: Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes  that works with your computer. Check that you have the latest software on your Mac or Windows PC. Make sure that your device is turned on. If you see a Trust this Computer alert, unlock your device and tap Trust. Unplug all USB accessories from your computer except for your device. Try each USB port to see if one works. Then try a different Apple USB cable. Restart your computer and iPhone, iPad, or iPod. Hi,   I have a big iTunes Library (about 280 GB) on an external hard drive (1TB) and I "Choose" it from whatever computer I use. Just received my new iPhone 6s. UPgraded from my iPhone 4s. When i connected to my iMac to sync iTunes on either phone im getting an error  that says** The iPhone...Cannot be used because it requires a newer version of itunes ... And i verified my iTunes is 11.4, but my imac is a Mac OS x Version 10.6.8.  I've check for upgrades and says computer has the latest upgrades.
