      Do not expect 1080p HDTV quaility with this DV HDMI

      I was disappointed with the 720p resolution I got from mirroring the "Retina" display and THEN read the Apple Web site. Check Apple Web site first!       Outrageously overpriced

      This adapter did not function well at all. Half the time the TV does not recognize the signal. The rest of the time the image was poor. It is excessively overpriced for what it is and performs poorly. This is an absolute insult from apple.

      Beware if you want to stream on demand!

      I bought this adapter with the intention of connecting my ipad to my tv and streaming apps such as Lovefilm, BBC iPlayer and 4od. Be aware that none of these ap I bought this adapter with the intention of connecting my ipad to my tv and streaming apps such as Lovefilm, BBC iPlayer and 4od. Be aware that none of these applications will work when connected via HDMI to a display. You will receive a notification that states the app does not support. Possibly ignorance on my part, but to me, this was a big plus point of buying the adapter in the first place. I contacted 4od and received the below response when I asked why there was no support: "Unfortunately the reason Airplay no longer works is that we don't have the rights to broadcast all our shows using Airplay, so this feature is not enabled." Hope this helps.

      Hot garbage

      I've bought knock off electronics from swap meets and flea markets that work better and more consistently than this lump of junk. The only good thing about it is that it feeds my daily gambling needs betting on how it's going to disappoint me that day.

      Rubbish

      I have bought nearly every apple product on the market and was trying to play my iPad on the tv in my daughters room to save having to buy another Apple TV, it I have bought nearly every apple product on the market and was trying to play my iPad on the tv in my daughters room to save having to buy another Apple TV, it just doesn't work, one minute it's working a minute down the line no signal, now trying to obtain a refund or replacement

      Quit working

      Only worked good for about 3 1/2 months now it takes forever to get it to work and I can't touch or move my phone. I have never had an apple product with this terrible of quality. For $50 should definitely last longer especially not used much and always put up when not in use. Would not recommend wasting your money.
