      Poor quality control ruins a great product

      The case came with a short cable to attach headphones. The cable was defective right out of the box which is infuriating. The female end of the cable would not The case came with a short cable to attach headphones. The cable was defective right out of the box which is infuriating. The female end of the cable would not make a positive electrical contact with any of my headphones. As the male end of the cable is threaded to keep a water tight seal, headphones cannot be plugged directly into the phone when it is in the case. So I either ditch the case or give up using headphones. Lifeproof customer service was insurmountably difficult and insisted on umteen hoops to jump through. Sure I could buy another cable for $20 plus $20 shipping but what is to say that the new cable will not have the same issue? I would think that for the sake of good customer relations, they could have send me a new one at no charge.
