Removing the connectors from the main body can be a little tricky. To remove the USB plug, push your thumb against the metal tip of the plug to lift the plug out. To remove the lightning plug, simply push the plastic housing of the connector down towards the opening and it will pop right out. Winding the cable back also requires you to seat the cable in the grooves exactly. Charging from the wall behaves as expected. To charge a device from the battery, simply press the button while the device is connected and verify your iPhone makes the "charging" beep. I got 11% of extra charge on my brand new iPhone 6 Plus. This sounds about right, relative to the 30% boost it is supposed to give a 5S. The size of the Jump is great. It does not fit in the change pocket of my jeans, but it does disappear into a back pocket or front pocket with ease.

      Nice design, but doesn't deliver

The manufacturer claims +30% charge for an iPhone 5. It charges my iPhone 6 by barely 15% (I'd expect at least 20-25%). I'm extremely disappointed. The design is indeed cute and practical (fits watch pocket), but that's all. Do not waste your money!

      not worth it

Bought it directly from their web site--Despite doing everything in the manual-- and following instructions online-- it never worked as described. The pack full Bought it directly from their web site--Despite doing everything in the manual-- and following instructions online-- it never worked as described. The pack fully charges itself, yes, but it has never charged the phone (except when used solely as a connecting cable between power source and phone). Even when the lights on the pack say it is fully charged and ready for use as a power pack, it does not charge the phone. The "on/off" button on the battery pack might be the issue, and reviews online suggest that this is indeed a common problem.

      Poor Performance

Looks practical due to the design but not practical at all. Can maybe charge from 5% to 15% on iPhone 6s (not the Plus size) and it dies. If you do not leave the cable plugged into the charger, it will die real fast. Don't waste your money.
