Case is advertised as having auto wake-auto sleep function when case is opened/closed. My new case does neither. What's wrong?

You'll have to lift the case's edge around two sides to remove it, so while the case is easily removed the mini is definitely not going to come loose from the case. It's a very nice case...

Be aware: did not realize that the viewing stand is landscape only. Husband's first iPad had a case that allowed rotation - bought this too soon.
