I also like that they're both Bluetooth and cord compatible. You'll need the cord. Trust me. The Bad: The Bluetooth loosing connection, albeit brief disconnects but often, is beyond annoying. If you're seated, not moving, and your music device is stationary, they're great. However, put your music source in your pocket, in your hand, or wherever while you're on the move and they skip out often. What's even more annoying is that B&O won't address the issue, other than replacing but that pair will have the same issue....and the next pair.....and the next pair.....etc. They'll say it's the music device (iPod, iPhone, etc) but it's not that. I've used Bose speakers (I've moved the speaker, and walked around with it just to see if it cut out on three separate devices and it didn't), other Bluetooth headphones (also 3 other devices), etc and no issue. Only with these. I've also read the issue people have with the loud thump when walking. It's true and it does happen. It doesn't matter if you're walking through the house barefoot, walking on the grass with some running shoes, or walking through the airport with a nice pair of Cole Haan's. The padded aluminum head rest that goes over the top of your head makes the cans thump because it slightly bumps your head while you walk, no matter if they're on really loose or tight. Because of those two big issues, my final issue is the price. I have zero issue paying for nice things and things that work as advertised. With the big Bluetooth issue, there's no way I'd pay what I paid for these. As a matter of fact, I'm typing this review at the airport and my iPod Nano is in my front left sport coat pocket so it's no further than 10"-12" from my h8's and they've been great for the last 10 minutes. I just shifted my weight to my other side and moved my arms a bit, and they started cutting out again. Grrrrr.

      BeoPlay H8 in Gray Hazel

With the warranty that B&O has its worth the price. I walk around the city and my home and have not had any issues. Bluetooth only starts cutting out at around 15' away from my phone. I noticed one connection issue at first with the BeoPlay app but as soon as i did the 2min firmware update I haven't experienced any issues. The design is amazing, feels great on my head and my ears. 14 hour battery is accurate when ANC is on. I am able to pause, play and forward to the next song and turn the volume up or down or even make a call. If you can afford the price and want true audio quality i highly recommend these headphones.

      Don't buy these, just...don't

BACK AWAY FROM THE SEXINESS...I will admit they sound decent, noise canceling is average, build quality is nice, but the CONNECTIVITY...ugh. The interruption of BACK AWAY FROM THE SEXINESS...I will admit they sound decent, noise canceling is average, build quality is nice, but the CONNECTIVITY...ugh. The interruption of the signal with these is just INEXCUSABLE. My laptop will be sitting right in front of me and I get interrupted play. I'll have my phone IN MY BREAST POCKET and get interrupted play. These are HONESTLY one of the most REGRETTABLE tech purchases I have ever made. BUT, i have to share with you the best part. I emailed B&O regarding the connectivity issues and got a response that was OBVIOUSLY from a support document or something that was copied and pasted into an email. It reads like this: "Investigations have shown that most users are not aware that the Bluetooth antenna signals is blocked by body parts. By placing the Bluetooth sound transmitter/receiver behind body parts, water in the body will dampen the signal drastically. This issue may be even worse outdoors with fewer reflecting walls." Enough said, save your pennies or apply them elsewhere. You have been warned...

I would have given five stars if they had spent the extra dollar on the bluetooth quality. I also have the BeoPlay H5 earbuds and they do skip out less.
