      The first time I plugged my phone into this charger I got a message saying that the cord was not compatible with an iPhone 6. I've seen this message before and The first time I plugged my phone into this charger I got a message saying that the cord was not compatible with an iPhone 6. I've seen this message before and many times those cords are still able to charge the phone, but this one didn't work at all. The box that the charger came in explicitly states that it is compatible with the newest iPhone models, so it's possible I just got a defective device. I returned the product that day.
