      You should hold one in your hand before you judge.

      Visually, it's oddly pleasing in person. How you fingers rest on the phone when your using it in hand feels natural; the balance of the battery placement makes Visually, it's oddly pleasing in person. How you fingers rest on the phone when your using it in hand feels natural; the balance of the battery placement makes holding it one handed from the bottom and using just your thumb pleasant. With the mophie case I felt the phone more top-heavy and cumbersome . On the rare occasion you use the phone to make phone calls the space up top makes holding it comfortable for long periods. The killer features: iOS integration, single cable, lightning port provides all functions, EarPods work with no extension, and no buttons. The white material picks up way less pocket lint that I had initially feared. The added weight is an issue of course but in due time it's negligible. Battery life is equivalent or slightly better than the Juice Pack Air this replaced. Also note that unlike most other battery cases you can still sync and use the iPod interface in the car which is incredibly convenient.

      Apple Brand

      I've had many battery cases throughout the iPhones I've been through. Mophie and Lifeproof and all of them broke a week into using them. The stupid micro usb ge I've had many battery cases throughout the iPhones I've been through. Mophie and Lifeproof and all of them broke a week into using them. The stupid micro usb gets loose and breaks. Now onto the Apple Smart Case! Since it's a lighting connector on bottom I like it much better. Nothing will break or pop out. I like that I can see how much battery juice I have left in control center. I rather not have to turn my Phone around and press a tiny button to see some blinking lights. Without this extra battery my phone barely lasted 8 hours. That is me watching HD YouTube on LTE and playing clash of clans which takes up 56% of my battery. Now that I have the battery pack my phone lasted 8 hours and the battery pack still had 45% of charge left and main battery stayed at 100%! Well done Apple! Wish you did this long time ago. Hope you have one planned for the iPhone 7! I'd gladly pay for another

      I will admit that this case does make my once very slim and sleek phone bulky, but the case also makes it easier to grip and I do not find it clunky! I did see where someone mentioned that the battery on his phone started to be depleted before the case battery was. I want to say that is not how it works on my phone! The case battery will get 100% depleted before it will start using the charge on your phone. This case's battery is enough for me to make it from 5 am to midnight on it! I do not even touch the phone's battery! I should also mention that I used my Apple Watch with my phone so that may have something to do with the longevity of my battery!

      Ugliest product in the lineup

      It really does make the otherwise slim phone look bulky, almost like a star trek gadget from the 70ties.       Easily the best charging case ever

      I got this case in my stocking as part of a Christmas present and was instantly so excited. It's the best charging case I've ever used. I had a mophie for my i I got this case in my stocking as part of a Christmas present and was instantly so excited. It's the best charging case I've ever used. I had a mophie for my iPhone 5/5S and loved it, but it was difficult to charge and it was bulky, but it did the job. It seems like Apple put a lot of thought into this when they made this case, because I have none of those issues now. I love how it charges with the lightning charger and I love how it feels. I was worried about the fact that there's no way to turn the case on or off, but now that I've been using it, I'm obsessed. You can swipe down and check the battery widget in the Notification Center to see how much battery is left on the phone and the case. I love the integration Apple has created between their accessories and devices. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

      Great Design---Works as promised!

      I am a long-time user of Mophie and, most recently, Anker charging products. Many of the "on-line expert reviews" have given this product a low rating. I mus I am a long-time user of Mophie and, most recently, Anker charging products. Many of the "on-line expert reviews" have given this product a low rating. I must disagree--I think this product is fantastic and here are some of the reasons: --The Mophie/Anker/etc products all use a MicroUSB cable for charging. Because I move my phone from the car, to the office to charging on planes, the MicroUSB begins to degrade until the point that the phone will only charge as long as it is in a certain position in relation to the pin. Candidly, the MicroUSB is derelict of pin/plug design. I have never been able to get more than 3 to 6 months out of any of thee products. Anker has replaced my device once--(TOP Rated according to some)---and, I said ENOUGH! --The lighting pin works and connects solid and, most everyone with an apple will have a lightning plug these days--so, you can always find an apple user and borrow a cable. Otherwise, you are looking for an Android user to ask them if you can borrow their cable to charge your phone. --The case is a simple one-piece design. I have dropped (yes it happens) the Anker and Mophie. The top-rated Anker case splits open in a fraction of a second at relatively low drops. Then the case and plastic pins get messed up, then, it starts falling apart. Same for the mophie two piece designs. This one piece has already met the floor and the case stayed on perfectly since, of course, it's a single piece design. --The grip material is excellent. Much easier to hold onto than slick Anker or Mophie. Oh, and if you buy any of the colored Mophie's and drop, the color scratches off leaving you a black and gold or black and red mis match. No plastic painting here. --The electronics are seamlessly interfaced into charging and you can read battery life of both the case and the phone in the pull down window (I forget what it is called). --It's backed by Apple. Try returning your busted Mophie to Best Buy. I toss them in the trash can on they way into Best Buy to get another. My only complaint is the way the charger works. It discharges the case battery to keep the phone at 100% during the day. So, you will need to remember that the case may be dead by the end of the day, even though your phone says 90%. I used to only turn on the charger of the batter case when my phone hit 20% or so. This battery does it's own thing--but, maybe Apple decided it is better to work the internal battery that way. At $99, this is a small price to pay. And, if it lasts even a year, that will be great!

*Testing conducted by Apple in October 2015 using production iPhone 6s units and software paired with preproduction iPhone 6s Smart Battery Case units and production software. Video tests consisted of repeated playback of a 2-hour 23-minute movie purchased from the iTunes Store. Internet tests were conducted over 3G, LTE, and Wi-Fi networks using a dedicated web server, browsing snapshot versions of 20 popular web pages and receiving mail once an hour. Talk time tests were conducted by placing a cellular phone call. All settings were default except: Wi-Fi was associated with a network for all but the Internet 3G and Internet LTE tests; the Wi-Fi feature Ask to Join Networks and Auto-Brightness were turned off. All battery claims depend on network configuration and many other factors; actual results will vary.
