MUCH smoother on the desk, more solid feel, definitely seems like an upgrade vs just a replacement. Even my wife noticed how much better it seemed to work, and she didn't even notice when I replaced our old iMac last year! Yes, it's weird to have the port on the bottom for charging. But honestly, if the battery lasts as long as they say it will between charges it's not a big deal.

I tried to use it with everything I could (desktops, laptops, tablets,...) and it always worked smoothly via Bluetooth. The outstanding design and swiping ability are just awesome. I recommend this mouse for everyone who is frustrated from a cheap plastic junk mice and always losing a small wireless USB transmitters.

      Great mouse

Mouse came charged to 95% and it was very easy to pair. I like its clicking sound better than the one old mouse had.

You have to constantly fight with it to get do anything. It just totally freaks out some apps like Amazon Kindle. Mine was included in a recent iMac purchase. I'm sure I paid way too much for a device that simply doesn't work at all like it should. I replaced it with a cheap Logitech mouse and am having no problems with my iMac now. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

Is there anyone out there that can explain to me why they put the charging port on the bottom v the side? I couldn't even use it. I'm so disappointed in this product, especially considering the cost. I have no idea what's going on with Apple. However, it's blatantly obvious that something is really wrong. Either their design team went out to lunch and forgot to come back or they failed to have actual consumers test out this product. Or both

      Not worth buying

But the Magic Mouse is anything but efficient, it is uncomfortable, slow and rough. The reality is that the build in trackpad is so much better at everyday computing. So my advise, if you really want a mouse go for a 3rd party one like Logitech, they tend to be cheaper and way nicer to use. Big disappointment Apple ;(
