    Maybe it was because my car is a '97. Maybe it was a one off. But this gadget ate my tape deck. I have had similar about 10 years Maybe it was because my car is a '97. Maybe it was a one off. But this gadget ate my tape deck. I have had similar about 10 years ago with out a problem. It was promptly returned with my tape deck now making a grinding sound every time I turn on my car :(

The sound it delivers makes your music sound live. What I recommend for it to last long and not jam your deck is to always stop the music on your iPod first, then eject the cassette adapter. It's really important that you do this.

Nothing wrong with the car tape deck; other tapes play just fine.
