    Absolutely not. However, when the lid is closed, smudges may appear on the screen where the keyboard protector has come into contact with the display. There is just enough clearance between the display and the keyboard when the notebook is closed, yet the protector eliminates such clearance.

  • No. I've had a keyboard protector on my MacBook Air 11" for a year and a half. No problems.

  • I'm trying it on a MacBook Pro 13" Retina display, hope it does'nt damages my screen. I'll use it for some days and test how it goes.
