  • Yes, you can; I've just starting using a Magic Mouse with my MacBook Pro.

    You can use the Bluetooth menu to pair with the mouse, but you may have to use Software Update to download and install the latest Magic Mouse software; if that's the case, your MacBook Pro will notice that you have paired it with a Magic Mouse, and Software Update will offer to do the update.

    Once you have the latest software, you will have separate Keyboard and Mouse System Preferences, and you'll get scrolling, and be able to configure it fully.

    BTW, I've got Magic Mice on my G4 Cube and a PowerBook G4 Ti, and everything works. I love this company.

  • with using the blue tooth on you macbook pro you can get some distance away from the computer and have it still work
