  • Hi,

Since the surface of the mouse is glass, like an iOS device, it only requires a light touch to activate a gesture so it is easy enough to use without it sliding around.

I have a wood-like desk surface at work, and it does occasionally slide around when I am using the 2 finger back gesture or other gestures, but I've gotten used to way to avoid that (like holding the sides gingerly with my thumb and ring finger).

If you would like to dig further, there are applications and tools, like BetterTouchTool, that will show you where your taps or gestures are being read on the Magic Mouse and you can gauge how hard you have to touch it and adjust the sensitivity.

As always, I have no affiliation with the company that produces BetterTouchTool, but I appreciate stuff that works.
