do Apple products have converters built in for 220 and 110 power?

Most Apple products have external power supplies (aka adapters), for example: MacBooks, iPhone, iPads. iMacs have internal power supplies. Typically Apple power supplies (and external adapters) accept a broad range of power inputs varying from 100 Volts A/C to 240 V A/C.
USA residential power is ~110V A/C using polarized two-pring or three-prong grounded connectors (often called plugs).
Connecting your Apple power supply to other power sources might require a certain cord (cable).
Do not make your own cable. Please use a UL or CE certified cable appropriate for the power source and adapter.
