Do I have to purchase a service contract with the ipad wi-fi or could I use my cable Internet?

I have a cable Internet service for my computer. I also have the firet iPad that works fine with my Internet. If I purchase the new iPad with wi-fi, do I have to purchase a wi-fi service such as AT&T, Verizon, etc.?

If you meant the one with cellular internet service then yes you will have to purchase the appropriate iPad for your cellular provider. If you intend to purchase a wi-fi only iPad then it is incapable of using a cellular data network and will operate the same as your previous iPad on your current internet service.

  • You can use you cable Internet service
If you don't have wifi cable you may have to purchase a cellular, The IPad works with any hotspot wifi. If no wifi hotspot, need other service to access internet
