Where ever wifi is, you can connect. (if you know the password or it doesn't have one)

  • Yes Any airport will do for internet but the express will allow you to connect speakers directly to it and play your content. the specs for the WiFi are 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi (802.11n 2.4GHz only) so you'll have no trouble with any of the recent airports or time capsules. As an added bonus you can use airplay to stream to the express or Apple remote APP to control your iTunes library and then have it stream to the express thereby saving your iPod battery. BTW during setup if the express is your ONLY airport you'll want to "create a wireless network" if it's part of your existing WiFi network go with "JOIN" i've had some problems with interference using the extend a wireless network function especially with airplay. Hope this helps.
