best imac configuration for video editing

want to be build a low cost high performance iMac to use as a video editing workstation

    Well 1) it depends on what kind of video editing you doing. iMovie could run fine on any Mac. But if your using FCPX or something simular you probably will want to upstage. 2) it depends on how much money your willing to spend. The BEST configuration would be everything completely upgraded, but you wouldn't nessasaraly need it and is very expensive.

    Most important upgrade features in order of importance
    1) FLASH storage/ Fusion.
    2) Prossesor (preferably i7)
    3) RAM (8-16Gb)
    4) Video memory (1-2Gb)
