    Clear becomes dark

    • Written by from Williamsburg

I purchased a clear case one month ago. I like the look and feel of the case and trust the case will offer the desired protection in the event of a drop. The clear case, however, is becoming less attractive as it turns to an inky color where it is often held. I had planned on purchasing a similar case for and iPad Air. Tech21 seems to require a copy of the original receipt and an "image of the product packaging" in order to respond.

There're two versions of this case!

After extensive research, I'd decided this was THE case for my iPhone. The product description at the online Apple Store did not specify whether there was one or three port openings. I want the latter, and had seen it in a few review videos. It fits the phone well, has a really nice feel, and gives me a sense of drop security. But the edge at the bottom is too flimsy. I'm sending it back and thankful for Apple's return policy. I wonder how long I should wait for the single-opening, older version to sell out before ordering again. It would be nice if there was an option to order with or with dock capability.

Great protection but with some flaws

    • Written by from Hayward

This is a great case for those who want adequate protection for the iPhone 5, without sacrificing the bulky features such as those from Otterbox, Lifeproof, and Griffin.

Rather than writing a descriptive paragraph of what I liked and disliked about this product, I have decided to provide a list of the pros and cons

    Great protection for edges/corners
Great design (have been receiving compliments ever since I bought this case)
    Thin and sleek
    Fairly easy to put on

Slippery feel (not a good idea for people with greasy hands)
Flexible TPU shell (the sides are prone to stretch out)
    No dust/dirt protection
Optimum camera lens cut-out (the cut out is a bit large in proportional to the back of the iPhone and does not offer protection at this area)
Fit (at times, the iPhone seems a bit wobbly)

buttons are very hard to press.
so difficult to press that im considering it a usability flaw.

Definitely try it and see how you like the buttons before purchase
