    Replaced 5 sets - Jaybird won't refund

    • Written by from Cleveland

These are not sweat proof! I'm returning my fifth pair. Same issue every time. Sweat gets in and they stop working. Jaybird will not refund my money. Do not buy these for exercise or if you have any expectation of a company to stand behind their product. Wish there was an option for zero stars.

    Jaybird ear buds

    • Written by from Portland

the only negative thing I can say is the rubber ear plugs don't stay on,
good luck finding them when you pull them out of your pocket...
I guarantee you'll be missing one of them.

The battery life with the volume close to max is about 3 hours.

but yes, no cord is the way to go.

I have had my buds since CHRISTmas and I have to say that I am not impressed. The battery on my first pair wouldn't last an hour, they did however replace them no questions asked but my second pair have been a pain. They just don't fit well, the always fall out no matter what configuration I use and also the battery won't even last half as long as they say. I am hopeful that the bluetooth technology is still new and that in the coming years they will get better.

    Not sweat proof

    • Written by from middlesbrough

I used my wireless jay birds I. The gym and was very happy with them until they decided to die on me. I am presuming it is because they are not sweat proof as they claim to be.

I have left messages on the company website asking for either replacement or fixes and after four messages have had no response. When working they are great but u fortunately they break too easily and customer service is non existent

Incredible...for as long as they work

    • Written by from Washington

I absolutely love these headphones...but I am now on my *fourth* pair because they simply do not perform under the conditions that the manufacturer specifically says that they are designed for. They are not sweat proof. If you wear these when running they will get fried over time (they've generally lasted about 3-4 months). The manufacturer is very good about accepting the returns (as I said, I'm on my fourth pair) but they simply do not perform as promised. I can't imagine that my fourth pair will be any different.

sounds great but does not pair well with Apple watch

    • Written by from Woodbine

I have two sets one for me and the other for my wife who has a Samsung Note 2. Mine pairs well with iPhone 6 Plus but pairs intermittently with my apple watch. I have to power cycle my apple watch or play around to get it paired once unpaired with my apple watch. I have iOS 8.4 My wife's pairs well with Samsung Note 2 but the control does not work such as stop or play button does not work from the headset.. I will be returning them before the 14 day return policy ends.

Outstanding Value, key word is VALUE!

    • Written by from San Antonio

I had my doubts as well as to bluetooth audio. Keep in mind if you want simplicity, no CORDS, a unit that works with what is loaded on your Apple Watch, these are superb. I just completed in two days, keep in mind please I am almost 59 years of age, about 25 miles on my bike in residential areas to just sweat and excercise. I wore my Apple Watch and wore this unit. This sound was awesome. It blocked out just enough outside noise that the ride was very nice. The sound was as good as or better than something like Bose. Step back, remember, these are wireless, bluetooth, designed for what they are. If you understand that, these are a superb value. If you want to fork out $200 or so for pure sound, get the B & O or B & W units!. If you want a superb simple, easy to use, bluetooth headset that sound super and works for what you need, get these.

Great while it works. Died 2 months after warranty expired

    • Written by from San Francisco

I loved the sound quality and decent battery life of these headphones. I used them almost 4 days a week at the gym without issue switching between my iPhone and Android phone.

Then during a workout it suddenly announce "Powering down" and since then I've been unable to get it to power back up again and the charging LED will not even flicker on when plugged in.

So after a 5 star review when first purchased I will now give it a 1 star due to it's short life span and dismal warranty.

    Not for me

    • Written by from Washington

I wanted to find quality headphones for when I bike and finally decided to go wireless. I had Yurbuds and loved them but they just quit so I wanted to buy something worth it. Need something that locks in my ear because nothing else ever fits. These were the most uncomfortable earbuds I've ever tried on. I'm even considering that it's user error as to why they are so uncomfortable but either way I'm not going to waste time to try and fix it. Returning them tomorrow.

These look good. They have good sound. However, the features like the simplicity of turing them off does not work. Epic fail - customer support view is they are rechargeable. The manual, and company (Jaybird) support say they turn off - the rep says that the manual isn't accurate. Overall, these do not stack up to others in the price point. Too many others half the price are better.

    Near Perfection

    • Written by from Toronto

I only use these for weight training, so my comment doesn't apply to any other type of exercise like Crossfit, running, cycling, etc...

I have been using them for about 2 weeks and I haven't had any issues. I place my phone either in my pocket or on the floor by my bench, and I have only had one issue - if the phone is in my pocket and i bend/crouch down (covering the phone with my body), they will briefly cut out. Other than that, flawless.

I had to experiment to find the right combo of cushions and wings (the wings really do help keep the buds in your ears). I also bought the Comply brand foam tips to use instead of the stock cushions, as the Comply cushions create a better seal.

The battery lasts about 6-7 hours. I have charged it a total of one time in the past 2 weeks, but I have used the headphones exclusively at the gym.

Sound is clear, bass is not too thick, but the Comply cushions help add back some bass that gets lost with the stock cushions.

    Well worth the money!

Great sound, not the most comfortable

    • Written by from Cleveland

I bought a pair of these on sale at BBY and have been pretty happy with them overall. Using the wire management clips was difficult because if the headphones are too short or too long, you practically have to start the whole thing over, but generally you only have to size them once so its not that big of a deal. They also dont fit as snug as my Blueant Pumps, even with the three different sizes of ear clips. I just bought some Comply foam tips and they fit much better. The sound is crisp, clear and doesnt not cut out at high volumes. You can also answer calls and change music tracks. Perfect for active people.

    Amazing in-ear headphones

    • Written by from Vancouver

Probably the ideal in-ear headphones. 1. Wireless 2. Amazing sound quality 3. Reliable 4. Easy to buy replacement ear buds from JayBird. 5. Great design of the product: compact and easy to wear.

I do hope the next revision can support AAC and other codecs.

Had a problem but they helped me

    • Written by from Naugatuck

Hey. I had a battery problem as well. Wouldn't power up after only 5 months of use.
Went to their website and chatted with them. Explained it was a gift from my sister for Christmas and I didn't have a receipt.
They set up an exchange and I'm back in business. Very happy!

Great headphones if you don't plan on sweating

    • Written by from Lenexa

Listen to the other reviewers on this item. They are great for light workouts - as soon as I get them wet during a hard workout they start malfunctioning. They shut down once like the on/off button was stuck and the second time died all together. Currently trying to pursue a refund
