This mouse really blew me away. For years my arm has been getting more and more uncomfortable when I do my graphics work. I thought it is just a normal consequence of using a computer all day long and maybe I have to accept it. Then I saw this Vertical Mouse. At first I thought it is too weird, but I was getting desperate for a solution so I got one to try. It came in a cheap box but the product looks well made. It connected via Bluetooth and I downloaded the software. The setup went smoothly. At first the grip position felt strange but I got used to it in a couple days. Amazingly my arm felt more relaxed almost immediately. It has only been a week but the tension is mostly gone and I continue to feel better. I even like the styling now. I'm so glad I got this thing!

I love the look, design, feel and overall comfort this Evoluent Mac mouse offers!
I've worked in an office at a desk on the computer for 15 years and I wish I had
    been using this all along!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mouse because it is easy to use, super comfortable and
has a lot of features that other input devices don't.

Best mouse I have ever owned!

    • Written by from Arlington

I have been using three versions of the Evoluent mouse now, and I have to say this is absolutely the most comfortable mouse I have ever used and owned. Paired with my Kinesis Advantage keyboard (kinesis-ergo -dot- com/advantage.htm), you can't get a better mouse and keyboard combination! The mouse (and keyboard, for that matter) takes about a week to get used to, so be patient and give yourself time to get adjusted. Once you do, you'll never go back!

I do miss the free-floating scroll wheel of the Logitech MX Revolution mouse, however, it's absolutely worth the sacrifice for the overall comfort factor.

    Keeps getting better

    • Written by from Victoria

I've been using the Evoluent vertical mice for about 7 years, since V2 and they just keep making them better. I have been hoping for a bluetooth version for a while and was ecstatic that they finally made one with V4 and as well as a mac native driver. I would highly recommend this mouse for anyone with carpal tunnel problems.

    Mouse great - bluetooth... read.

    • Written by from Los Angeles

First to address all the bluetooth problems..
I got the bluetooth version and thinking how I am very tech savvy I would be able to solve any problems with bluetooth that other people had. Didn't happen. The problem is with Apple, not with this mouse and there is nothing that can be done (unless Apple does something).
On the up side - Evoluent customer support is beyond amazing and they were quick to send me a new mouse (2x times! - first time I wanted to make sure it's not the mouse but bluetooth, second time they sent me the dongle version - which now works flawlessly).

As for the mouse - I think that like all ergonomically things it is individual, what works for whom. For me it works great.
I would highly recommend trying this mouse to see if it helps you.
Other than that - the overall impression is that the mouse is sturdy and very well made.

    Cured my wrist pain!

    • Written by from SAN FRANCISCO

This mouse lets me work again!

Within a few days of getting used to it I am now working faster than before and with NO PAIN. I love the positioning of the buttons; and find I'm using all 5 buttons for functions like Mission Control and Dashboard. The on-the-fly resolution adjustments are awesome as well. I can slow things down when I'm working on precision alignment tasks and speed things up when doing general work.

I also really like how the black with touch of chrome colors go well with my iMac. It appeals to the designer side of me.

Thank you Evoluent! I wish I had known about this mouse before; but I guess it's new for Mac users and had been more PC focused before.

    The mouse that saves careers.

    • Written by from Arlington

I have used the Evoluent mice with all my Macs and many other PCs. It is a fantastic invention -- and it works GREAT with Mac OS X regardless of whether you use "natural" scrolling or the more common scrolling. Simply choose your scroll setting in the Mac preferences. No driver installation is required. Give this mouse 3 days and you'll be free from pain thereafter.

    Fantastic stress-relieving mouse

    • Written by from Seattle

I love this mouse. It gets your arm into a much more natural position, which has relieved so much tension in my wrist. I can't imagine sitting at my computer for eight hours a day with a standard mouse ever again.

LOVE IT! I have 3 of them.

It took about 2 days to get used to this mouse. In fact, my hand cramped. However, after using one for a week, the carpal tunnel pain was gone and now I don't need surgery. I have one at home, one at the office, and one I travel with. After using this mouse for a while, I found that using a normal mouse is painful so I now only use the Evoluent mouse. If you are considering surgery for carpal tunnel, it's worth trying this product. If you want to avoid carpal tunnel issues then I recommend trying this mouse. I have used Evoluent for about 6 years now. I started before they had MAC OS drivers or wireless. Each one I have used was very robust and never broke. The only think I don't like is they are bulky in a back pack when traveling. BTW, the PC version works with both PC & MAC.
