    Quality? Top notch. Features? Meh

Unlike many here, I find the stanmore speaker sounds beautiful. I can host parties at my college house of 30-40 people and it is stellar. Yea you can't turn bass on full and blast A Milli but I mean for a speaker of its size I understand. The only problem I have with it is that my mac laptop can't connect to it via bluetooth anymore. (iPad and iPhone still work)

    Solid Speaker. Good Sound.

Solid speaker. Not something you want to cart around (a bit heavy/no battery) Natural sound. Nothing I've tried compares. Solid wood with faux-leather wrapped case, retro switches. Very sweet! Simple to use. In my opinion, sounds better at louder volume (I've sampled with well know old songs I know every nuance , etc. to Classical, Jazz, Country, Pop) All come through with very good sound. Remember this is not a $4000. speaker! It's $400. and worth it. Will easily rock the house, but really made to be listened to in one room (not a home sound-system) bedroom, office or huge vaulted ceiling living space. All good. Yeah, you can hear it in other rooms (and the outside walls will tremble) but you won't get full listening experience without being within 30 meter or so (range of Bluetooth). Pairs (in order) to 6 different devices (sweet) via Bluetooth. Dual connectors if you want to plug directly into an old-fashioned turntable (cool), Direct access cable if you don't want to use BT. Also can use with Airplay (so why even bother with BT?). Buy an aux cable and your set for TV, etc. My only major complaint (after only a few days of use) seems to automatically pair with last device and does NOT seem to continue looking for next device (if 1st is off), so I end up re-pairing. Bummer. I should probably research a bit more before making a judgment on this. I may be doing something wrong. Next complaint; such detail! beautiful box! Nice Design! Why the cheap plastic "Marshall" plate on front. Looks good but, come on, how much more could a metal plate have cost? This quality component deserves a "real" badge. I'd give 5 Stars except for my earlier comments and maybe I'm spoiled. Really beautiful and easy to move from room to room if I need to. Perhaps I need one for ech room. That'd be cool.

    Great sound...has trouble staying connected

I love the sound and it fills my studio apartment with rich, deep sound. I use it with my Macbook Air (which handles all of my home media).

The only issue I have is that I occasionally have to turn it off and on because it drops it's connection...but this isn't enough for me to not like this thing...
