There are better for less money

I have many headphones from the leading manufacturers like AKG, Sennheiser etc. I thought I would like to try something a little different so I got a pair of these. I have had them for a few weeks now and have run them thru all sorts of different music.
Without getting into a lengthy review this is what I think about them. They are not bad but they are over priced for what they are. There are a lot of headphones out there that are better for less money. For example, I have a pair of Audio Technica ATH M50x headphones that are more comfortable and frankly kill these sonically. They are cheaper and are in a different class all together making them a real audio value. Just read the many reviews and that is but one example.
I guess these are a novelty and if you are a fan of 'Marshal' as a brand than go for it I guess. But sound wise they are muddy in the bass and the treble is all over the place. My advice to you is go and compare them against real audio headphone brands (and no not Beats either) and make an informed choice as they are not cheap by any means.

    Muddiest Headphones Hands Down

At first I thought there was something wrong with my IPOD but after listening to a variety of different types of music, I found the vocals garbled almost muted and certainly not pleasing to the ear. The music just seems to overpower the vocals. I did put on the Treble Booster and removed the interior pads as suggested by Marshall but found only a marginal difference. I am hard pressed to understand the positive reviews because I could find nothing good to say about these and obviously I'll regrettably be returning them. I hope you find this review helpful!
