The best bang for the price

TrIed Beats, Bose, and others side by side at the Apple Store. The Marshall's we're fantastic durable well constructed and great sounding. The sales guy at Apple also recommended them. Been enjoying them ever since I got them.

    the best!

these things sound fantastic! I took out the filter inside and i prefer the sound like that... a little more dynamic. in terms of quality they are great; they are made of metal and they feel unbreakable! i also love how compact they are.
my favorite part is the brand itself. these guys have been making high end audio product for musicians for years ... these are not some wannabe premium brand - they are the real deal! highly recommend, very happy!

    Great pair of headphones!!!!

These Marshalls are a great pair of headphone. They are comfortable, have good bass and highs, have iPhone functions, and are compact for travel. I own the Beats Mixr's, AiAiAi TMA-1's, SMS Audio Street by 50 On Ear and I find myself using these the most! You won't be disappointed!

There are better for less money

I have many headphones from the leading manufacturers like AKG, Sennheiser etc. I thought I would like to try something a little different so I got a pair of these. I have had them for a few weeks now and have run them thru all sorts of different music.
Without getting into a lengthy review this is what I think about them. They are not bad but they are over priced for what they are. There are a lot of headphones out there that are better for less money. For example, I have a pair of Audio Technica ATH M50x headphones that are more comfortable and frankly kill these sonically. They are cheaper and are in a different class all together making them a real audio value. Just read the many reviews and that is but one example.
I guess these are a novelty and if you are a fan of 'Marshal' as a brand than go for it I guess. But sound wise they are muddy in the bass and the treble is all over the place. My advice to you is go and compare them against real audio headphone brands (and no not Beats either) and make an informed choice as they are not cheap by any means.

A really great pair of Headphones!

Picked up a pair of these Marshall FX a few weeks ago and the sound quality is fantastic! They definitely compare to the other high end Bose and Beats series. I would say they compliment more of the hip hop and bass tracks rather than the rock classics. I would assume the majority of consumers would be purchasing this to compliment their heavy metal or rock collection. I enjoy all types of music and these headphones do not disappoint.

    Better than Beats by Dre!

This sounds amazing and it last soooo long. I love how we have an option with the FTP system.

    Best Headphones I've bought

These have to be one of the best pairs of headphones I have owned in a long time. I use them a lot for travel and they work wonderfully. I've flown cross country a few times and use them quite frequently on Amtrak. I find myself taking them everywhere with me.

    Poor Construction/Materials

Received the item in great packaging, however when the item came out of the box, the excitement died down. The Marshall Monitor look cheap, plastic and flimsy. The ear cups are not comfortable, cushion is not structured. Also when trying to remove the ear cups the cushion comes off very easily and will not stay on securely. Please stay clear of these, as to not have disappointment like myself.

    Muddiest Headphones Hands Down

At first I thought there was something wrong with my IPOD but after listening to a variety of different types of music, I found the vocals garbled almost muted and certainly not pleasing to the ear. The music just seems to overpower the vocals. I did put on the Treble Booster and removed the interior pads as suggested by Marshall but found only a marginal difference. I am hard pressed to understand the positive reviews because I could find nothing good to say about these and obviously I'll regrettably be returning them. I hope you find this review helpful!
