    Nothing short of brilliant!

What's not to like? It's small, comfortable, beautiful, quiet, and much easier to type quickly and correctly. My former white mac keyboard, at home and office, had an annoying sticking or binding feel...possibly due to the angle at which I strike the keys. Not so with this new keyboard. Aesthetically, it pairs perfectly with both of my white/aluminum iMacs and my Mac Pro and looks like it was specifically built for both. Frankly, I don't like using traditional keyboards now. For a product this good and innovative, it is worth $49.

    Love it!

You can't go wrong with this one. Like going from their old keyboard (yugo) to a Porsche, Very comfortable. If you buy, when you get it you will need to go to system preferences then universal access and turn off mouse keys to get the key pad to work.

One more thing, don't forget to get your software for it by doing an apple update!

    Works on Vista PC

Plug and play compatible w/ PC running Vista Home Premium. Device manager seems to find/install proper driver. Only problem is with the special Apple keys and top row (function keys). Not work when used on PC. Technically astute users may be able to reprogram them. Though, not a big loss IMHO. I never use those function keys anyway.

I've been using it for a couple days now. Must confess that while it looks cooler on my desk than the previous MS keyboard I had, it's a bit harder to type on owing to the shallow depth of the keys.

    Like it

I have a MacBook and the keyboard is very similar to thekeybpard on it. The keys are very easy to type on. The accidental caps lock guard is a nice touch as well. I have the wired one and the usb ports on the side are awesome. Simple. I love it.

    Best Wired Keyboard Ever

I've used lots of keyboards with a variety of computers. This is the easiest to use and most aesthetic keyboard I've had my hands on, except maybe it's wireless cousin. I bought both and have no regrets. In fact they are both extremely pleasing and worth the money.

    great hardware

I have been using macs for well over a decade. I've never owned a better keyboard than this, whether it be apple made or otherwise. This keyboard is built for speed, forget those oldschool type writer-like keyboards that the diehards reminisce about. Once you get used to it, your finger glide over the keys without practically any effort thanks to the slim design

even better than my powerbook g4 keys

    Best Keyboard Ever

    Ive, you did it again!

I was never a fan of the last keyboard. It was clunky and cheap. I disliked it so much that I reverted back to an old keyboard that came with my G4 silver door. But this new keyboard works really well! It's so small, but you don't really notice it. The keys have a great tactile response to them and are more like a notebook keyboard AND it gives you a nice return of desk space. I've never felt compelled to write a review here, but this keyboard is just that good! The one thing I don't understand is why you didn't make the corded version wireless as well.

Apple and Ive -- you rock!

    Best Keyboard Ever Made

If someone says they don't love this keyboard there can be only one reason... they are insane! Ok, that is a touch dramatic, but honestly this is the greatest keyboard I have ever used. But that is because I love laptop keyboards. Very short stroke, quick response and sensitive to light key hits this keyboard allows me to type fast with very little effort. If you like huge heavy keys that you have to pound away on, do not buy this.

Also, not that it effects performance, but this keyboard looks amazing.

    Excellent!

People are using some pretty strong words in their reviews like, "love, best friend, passion, i sleep with my new keyboard. I try to save words like "love" for things that not objects. This keyboard does what Apple said it would do. Like everything else Apple, it's sweet. Excellent keyboard, but I don't sleep with it.

Caps Lock to Control re-mappers beware

The keyboard is great and fast, BUT if you're used to re-mapping the (useless) Caps Lock key to be a Control key, beware that it may not work as expected.

The keyboard has a built-in hardware delay on the Caps Lock key which requires a little-bit longer press to activate. While this 'feature' may be great for avoiding accidental Caps Lock usage, the behavior is a hinderance when it is used as a Control modifier key.

The delay behavior remains in effect even when the key is remapped and it does not seem possible to alter via software, which makes the keyboard potentially useless for coders, Emacs users, etc

    Best Keyboard Ever!

Once I saw the release of this keyboard It was a must on my list. I love apple in every way. I ditched my old PC keyboard and upgraded to this fine one. It's great it works on PC's. I would have been heart broken if It was only limited to macs.

It makes typing borning letters a blast with its slick design and firm keys and its not really hard to do some gaming with it too.

Having USB 2.0 ports buit in is yet another plus! plugging in my ipod touch, headsets, or my extrnal hard drives has never been so simple. I dont have to never bend down to the bottom of the pc ever again.

    terrible

I only bought this because my previous keyboard broke (space bar stopped working), making this keyboard #3 in 3 years. Hopefully 3 is my lucky number, as I'm now on my third power supply for my iMac G5 as well. This was the most basic keyboard I found in the Apple store at my local mall. Apparently you can't get anything for under $50, whereas my previous Apple keyboard was around $30. So I plug it in and find that I can no longer control the volume or screen brightness through the keyboard, since I am still running Panther (10.3.9) and this requires you have 10.4.10. The function keys are way too small and I have to lean in close to read the print on them. As a replacement, it's an inferior product at a higher cost. Apparently Apple is trying to force people to upgrade since this thing only works correctly with Tiger and you can't get the old keyboard anymore. No problem, I'll be upgrading to Vista shortly.

    Best in Class!

I just love this keyboard. I never understood the ergonomic benefit of "standard" keyboards where key travel is so big - it is just more strain to your fingers. This keyboard is very close to "laptop" feel and it is just awesome. Light touch and short key travel is a boon to my tendonitis-ridden arms. Don't let the spacing between keys confuse you - the distances between buttons are standard. I felt comfortable typing on this one on third email!

My only hope this great product will set a new industry standard for keyboards! Really!

    Suprise!

I have always loved the latest and greatest, espeiclally when it comes to Apple. I had the iPone 2nd day it was realeased. When I saw the new keyboard I thought it was nice and well designed, but was concerned that it would not be as good to type with as my regular apple keyboard where the keys are more raised. To my suprise I took to the new keyboard like a duck to water! It's awsome! I love the low profile. I love the look of it, and for some weird reason, I feel I type better on it. I recomend this new keyboard. Apple.....you did it again!
