    Horrible product

    Simply does not do what promisses. It is useful only to extend the wireless network, nothing else. To share hard drive and printers is terrible. Airtunes does not play the sound, and when it plays cuts the music. I am really disappointed.

    Steve Jobs rolling over in his grave

    If Steve were alive he would have fired the idiot who approved this release. First of all, the main purpose of having an Express is that it's small and great for traveling. Second, Apple has always been about adding functionality while keeping the size small or smaller than the original. So this new replacements fails on BOTH counts. How can any product manager think that this new design is better than the old?

    Here's a novel thought. Ask what would Steve do even though he asked you not to do that. Steve would have added the additional port and frequency to the old design. Not only that, he would have actually made it even smaller. Do you hear what I'm saying???

    Just because Steve is dead doesn't mean you clowns can start slacking off.

    DONT BUY THIS

    I buyed this 2 months ago, at an apple store in NY, to expand my wifi network , the router of my wifi network is the airport extreme. IT DOES NOT WORK , IT WORKS 20 MINUTES AND THEN STOPS WORKING FOR 10 MINUTES. sometimes doesnt even works. its very unstable. i mean it ! DONT BUY THIS.

    Why not a modem router?!!!

    I love the device from the moment I saw it in your keynote, but why apple, why not making a modem router after so long???!!!!
    I even order it by mistake and I realized, I was so much in luv with this device I even didn't pay attention to this important factor!
    Anyway to some people like me having a separate modem & router its just not a case!
    I give 1 star to get your attention apple, but as you may know all your devices with all limitation they have are all the way 5 stars!!!

    Worst Apple product I have ever seen!

    First router I have ever bought, they say it sets right up. Well, after 2 nights of trying EVERYTHING on this planet, reading for a million hours and it just doesn't work! I think I'm going to go out back and use it for target practice! After having a bad iPad experience, and now this, I would have to say I believe Apple is going downhill!

    Bought new today, doesn't work

    I'll change my review when they give me a new one. Flashes yellow, neither my iMac or iPhone can find it. Not my first Express so I know it's defective.

    Awesome...... What a wasted 2 hour trip to pick it up. Hope they plan on parting with some of the 100 billion in the bank to cover my expenses, or just send me a prepaid box.

    Thanks Apple! Reminds me of my iPad 2 I had to return on the 2nd day cause it quit working. Pay those workers more than $1 a day and the quality might go up!!!
