    Mic not working

I'm not gonna say anything about the earpods. My concern is the mic. When I was making phone calls while using the earpods, the other end always complained to me that they could not hear me! I thought the mic worked. When I tested it out myself using voice record, I found I could barely hear my voice!! I have no idea how I can make this mic work. This is no damage to the earpods nor the mic. I assume the earpods' mic just doesn't work.

    The bass is great!

These EarPods are a giant leap forward from the previous ones. They have amazing bass, however they have a little trouble with higher tones. They are very comfortable and never fall out of my ears. I have also know these EarPods to shock my ears when I slide across my couch. So maybe add some rubber tips if you design a new pair so my ears don't get shocked.

    One side is staticky

The EarPods need to be built better, they have really good sound quality. I cleaned them with a dry paper towel and now one side is staticky and has a lower volume then the other side. Would love a refund

    EarPods are not durable

I have used several of these. All of them have quit working within a year because of shorts in the cord between the ear pods and the jack. Symptoms include loss of sound to one of the ear pods and sounding cutting in and out as the cord is moved.

    Apple EarPods Review

I'm not going to lie but i'm pretty sure that i have bad luck with earbuds. i have gone through about 7 in the last year (mind you only two of them were apple) however i have realized that the problems i have had with those earpoads have been significantly different than the other earbuds for example a recent pair of apple earbuds that just broke on me at first the sound would cut in and out of both EarPods then they went out completely and i would have to bend the end of the earbuds for the sound to come through then after dealing with that for a while the sound came back however if i were to watch a t.v show on my phone i would hear the background but when the people talked it sounded like they were talking underwater and i got fed up with them. i'm not going to say don't buy them they are bad because they don't i just think their life span is worth $30 both pairs of apple EarPods that i have had lasted for about 8 months but they are the only good affordable ones, they are truly better than having to buy $5 earbuds from 5 below for marshals or something every month. They are somewhat costly they should be about 10-15 dollars not $30, but once again i think i just have bad luck with earbuds. apple should lower the price.

They're underpriced for what they can do

I'm gonna compare those to my Sennheiser HD 380 PRO (monitoring headphones, but good for everything) and my old Beats Solo HDs. Unlike any other in-ear headphones, these EarPods don't not fall out of my ear and stay comfortably in there. The microphone and the volume buttons are placed not too low but not too high on the cable, making everything more comfortable.
The sound quality on the EarPods is amazing for 30$. Of course, they can't beat the Sennheisers but it kinda overtakes the Beats. Despite their little size, the EarPods have quite a lot of bass. At least more than I expected. Everything sounds the way it's supposed to sound.
Does it worth buying (if you didn't get it with an iDevice)? Of course.

    Weak cord

I listen to music with the EarPods daily. My problem is, with all this use the wire gets very worn much too fast. It's the same problem with the charger cords. They fray where they bend. The quality of sound and how they fit are great but buying a new pair of EarPods every six months doesn't satisfy.

    REVIEW

these apple earpods are great for sound but they don't fit my ear and don't feel snug. Also they feel hard and aren't comfortable.

i don't know why they don't have silicone padding or something but the shape of these earpods do not fit people who particularly small ear holes...

two stars for sound and the ability to use the ear pod to talk while on the iphone

First earbud that fits my ear AND great sound

I have not previously had a pair of earbuds that were not painful and/or impossible to keep in my ears. Judging from the reviews indicating the opposite, we should draw the conclusion that not all ears are alike. As regards those reviews whining about frayed cords, etc., these are highly portable electronic devices and somewhat fragile. Crimping the cord at the connection is quite likely to shorten its functional life. You could be more careful, or find a more durable, ½" diameter, 1# cord, or continue whining.

    Do not buy

Those are so uncomfortable it actually hurts to wear them. Also they pop out all the time, but is a moment of relieve when they do. It's a petty such expensive and overpriced phone to come with these. Absolutely do NOT buy!

    just stops working

I bought these in august and they already broke. Nothing about them is broken but the sound just stopped working, very sad. during the time that they actually worked, they were amazing but because of the cost probably not buying another pair.

    Is this a horrible joke?

I almost would like to smack the person that designed these things. They are horribly painful, and they fall out. Maybe they were made for an elephant, but I can not imagine any normal human being with an ear that these things fit. Not one person in my household can wear them…and that includes my husband who does not have the smallest of ears. Going straight to the trashcan. Love my Apple products, but for heavens sake…this design needs to go.

    Please Read. Shocking Story. Literally

I was listening to music on my iPhone 6S and one moment....I feel a shock go into my ear. Literally I felt an electrical shock in my ear canal from the EarPods. Note that this wasn't the first time this happened but rather it happened around last year in Early 2015. I'm was listening to music for about 2 hours before the happened with medium-high volume in it. It had no contact with any liquids at all. I highly recommend that you don't buy another pair of these if they break and don't be surprised if they break quickly after use. If Apple is removing the headphone jack for the iPhone 7.....I hope they redesign the EarPods to actually fit in myears, not to give me an electrical shock in my ear canal, and to have better sound quality. If you read this far than I can probably imagine you are thinking about ditching these EarPods for different headphones. That is what I have to say about these horrendous earbuds.
