ok+ sound quality. And for me it's also terrible for running

    • Written by from Boynton Beach

It keeps falling off, specially if you sweat a lot like I do. You will have to find a way to customize It to your needs. If you're a runner and you sweat even for a bit then forget about this EarPods. Even if you don't sweat but have long step running, it will always drop on the side where the mic is. It's very enfuriating. Really, fix it. 3 stars for the sound quality that is meh, Bose earpod have better sound although is way more expensive, but it STICKS TO YOUR EARS. Come on guys..

    Won't stay in my ears.

    • Written by from Portland

5 stars for the sound, 1 star for constantly falling out of my ears.

The sound is great, and the quality seems good. If these stay in your ears, they're a pretty good deal. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

They are good but not for thirty dollars , they have a good bass but a bad treble making it hard to hear a variety of music .

    Too large for small ears.

    • Written by from Austin

Let me start by saying I love the quality of these earbuds and have yet to find another brand that I like better. EXCEPT....apparently, I have small ears. These things are huge. They are great for my husband who has caverns for ear canals. My best friend, apparently, doesn't have tiny ear holes either. I can place them at the outside of my ear but they fall out constantly. If I shove them in, it starts to hurt my ears after a few minutes. Apple, would you PLEASE make EarPods for small ears?? My kids can't use them either. Same issue. I had heard that Apple did indeed make small ear earbuds but when I went to the Apple store I was told this wasn't accurate information. If you don't have small ears, you will love these earbuds. I can even talk on the phone while I blow dry my hair because they drown out constant noise like that. They are, however, very distracting if someone is in the same room with you and speaking. They pick up the voice of the other person as if they were on your lap.

This is good one and competitive with all brands of phone. Its sound is amazing as other brand of earphones but only have minor change with other headphones. There is no differece with compare to other headphones as I listen the sound. Good one. Not bad

    No idea why

    • Written by from Silver spring

My first pair lasted about two months, before both stopped working. I even cleaned the grill, but it didn't work so I replaced them. Two pairs later, the left earpod stops working when it was working perfectly fine that day and I have no idea why because I cleaned it for about two hours. I watched videos on how to make it work again, I read comments on how to fix them. But no matter what I did, it wouldn't work.

    I don't get it.

    • Written by from Baltimore

The sound on Apples earpods are bar none the best sound quality, for the price, I've ever experienced. HOWEVER, who's ears do these earphones fit in?! They are the least comfortable, least ergonomic earphones on the market! C'mon Apple! Get it together, I would loove for my earphones to actually stay inside my ear.

Great sound quality, but uncomfortable (for me)

    • Written by from Smartsville

I got these earbuds with my new iPhone, and the sound quality is amazing, just as good as my $20 pair. (I shop for bargains when it comes to earbuds at least.) I remember when Apple's earbuds were awful and tinny, and I have to say they've come pretty far. The only thing is that they're pretty uncomfortable. I've seen a lot of people saying they feel great, so I think it's just people with certain ear shapes. I would recommend these, but certainly not for $30, when you can get just as good a pair with a more comfortable fit for everybody for $20 or about the same price.

Good fit and sound, but don't hold up to sweat

    • Written by from Redding

I wear the EarPods for running. They are comfortable (even when running for 3-4 hours) and have awesome sound quality, but they have a serious design flaw for athletes. If you sweat while wearing them, the sweat runs down the cable and into the remote, causing it to short out. I have gone through 2 pairs so far- first, the remote stops working and ultimately, the right earbud (the one with the remote) goes silent. It would be nice if Apple would either make the remote more durable or offer the EarPods without a remote at all.

    Good earbuds, junky build quality

    • Written by from Toronto

These earbuds came with the phone I purchased in September 2014. The sound was an improvement over previous incarnations of earbuds however after dropping the phone with the 'buds plugged in, the connector broke free of the cable. For $35 Apple should put a bit more quality into their products.

    Okay headphones

These headphones sound very good. The bass is pretty nice. The first few days of me using them they have made my ears hurt and sore. I hope they fix this in the next gen of headphones.

    Not worth the money.

I would love these earpods if they weren't so poorly made. The wire always falls apart and then I lose sound, I may as well buy the cheap $10 ones you can get at any store.

    great sound but bad connector

    • Written by from Charlotte

The new design earbuds sound really good but now the third pair that I have purchased have the same connector problems. When plugged in they make popping and clicking sounds. I would just twist them until they sound normal. But now two out of three pairs do not work at all.

i love these headphones a lot and use them daily, very comfortable. The only problem i've had with these is how the main speaker on the left earbud blows out. My third pair has already blown out on the left one and about to go to my 4th pair that came with my iPhone 6. That should probably get looked into.

i have had my earpods for a long time and they have started to fall apart and break but that is my fault because i have not been taking care of them
the best quality of these earpods
i can wear them for HOURS and not even get tired of them , sadly i broke the part where it separates the right earpod from the left :( it hanging on by a few wires but it is so worth the price and they have lasted long than any other pair of headphones i've had :)

Great Headphones but they break often!

    • Written by from Brooklyn

I love these headphones. Great sound for the size plus the portability and design are excellent. My main problem is, I've had the right ear bud speaker fail on 3 seperate pairs within one year! That's $90 that I've put into the Apple earpods this year. I'm very gentle with them yet they seem destine to break around 4 months if you use them daily. But only the right speaker will break, which will torture you as you to debate on returning them to the genius bar or investing in a different brand.

Great if you're committed to spending $30 once a year.

    • Written by from Saint Albans

I was satisfied with the quality of sound, remote functions and microphone of these headphones.

The problem is (like with most apple accessories including chargers and the like), they aren't built to last. During the one year warranty, I replaced these headphones twice. And now that I'm out of warranty by a few months, this third pair (that I technically did not have for a year since they were a replacement), is not functioning and I'll have to spend another $30.

If you're willing to deal with apple's tendency to sell products that fall apart, just make sure you buy these headphones online so that when you make the journey to the apple store, you can get them replaced the 2+ times you'll need to during the year.
