I hope it will not damage my ears permanently

This is the second pair of ear pods that i bought in same year.
Every time I use them it gives an acute spike in my ears! Like a spike of electricism or something.
I have no idea what it is, but it REALLY hurts.
Not only disappointed, but very frustrated for both the discomfort and pain and the bad customer service.

    Great but don't last

I now have had 3 pairs of the apple EarPods and in my experience 2 out of the 3 of them, is that the right earbud's forward facing speaker keeps blowing. The most recent pair stopped working properly just a few days ago but I received them with my newest iPhone just a couple months ago in mid-January. I love and have always loved the apple EarPods because they work great but the more I use them, the more I notice something is off that needs to be fixed so that we don't have to keep spending 30$ for a new pair every couple of months.

    Ouch!!!

These earbuds are great in regards to audio quality but if you have small ears it really hurts to use them. My ear became bruised and eventually the skin broke from using these, as the buds are super bulky.

Great and Disappointing at the Same TIme

The sound is great, the bass is great..
But the audio plug is not so great. Other earbuds have angled plugs which protects it from snapping or breaking.
I have had my earbuds for less than a month, and the moment it got caught the audio plug snapped with the rest of the cable. The result: earbuds in the trash. I was so upset because those were one of the best earbuds I have ever owned.
Please fix the audio plug structure.

    Broke in months

They were really great headphones until today. I was watching Netflix, not that loud, and the right earbud blew. I was really disappointed because I loved those earbuds. However, they had previously had problems. The left one had blew also and was fixed by itself. Be careful with them

    Mic not working

I'm not gonna say anything about the earpods. My concern is the mic. When I was making phone calls while using the earpods, the other end always complained to me that they could not hear me! I thought the mic worked. When I tested it out myself using voice record, I found I could barely hear my voice!! I have no idea how I can make this mic work. This is no damage to the earpods nor the mic. I assume the earpods' mic just doesn't work.

    The bass is great!

These EarPods are a giant leap forward from the previous ones. They have amazing bass, however they have a little trouble with higher tones. They are very comfortable and never fall out of my ears. I have also know these EarPods to shock my ears when I slide across my couch. So maybe add some rubber tips if you design a new pair so my ears don't get shocked.

    One side is staticky

The EarPods need to be built better, they have really good sound quality. I cleaned them with a dry paper towel and now one side is staticky and has a lower volume then the other side. Would love a refund

    EarPods are not durable

I have used several of these. All of them have quit working within a year because of shorts in the cord between the ear pods and the jack. Symptoms include loss of sound to one of the ear pods and sounding cutting in and out as the cord is moved.

    Apple EarPods Review

I'm not going to lie but i'm pretty sure that i have bad luck with earbuds. i have gone through about 7 in the last year (mind you only two of them were apple) however i have realized that the problems i have had with those earpoads have been significantly different than the other earbuds for example a recent pair of apple earbuds that just broke on me at first the sound would cut in and out of both EarPods then they went out completely and i would have to bend the end of the earbuds for the sound to come through then after dealing with that for a while the sound came back however if i were to watch a t.v show on my phone i would hear the background but when the people talked it sounded like they were talking underwater and i got fed up with them. i'm not going to say don't buy them they are bad because they don't i just think their life span is worth $30 both pairs of apple EarPods that i have had lasted for about 8 months but they are the only good affordable ones, they are truly better than having to buy $5 earbuds from 5 below for marshals or something every month. They are somewhat costly they should be about 10-15 dollars not $30, but once again i think i just have bad luck with earbuds. apple should lower the price.

They're underpriced for what they can do

I'm gonna compare those to my Sennheiser HD 380 PRO (monitoring headphones, but good for everything) and my old Beats Solo HDs. Unlike any other in-ear headphones, these EarPods don't not fall out of my ear and stay comfortably in there. The microphone and the volume buttons are placed not too low but not too high on the cable, making everything more comfortable.
The sound quality on the EarPods is amazing for 30$. Of course, they can't beat the Sennheisers but it kinda overtakes the Beats. Despite their little size, the EarPods have quite a lot of bass. At least more than I expected. Everything sounds the way it's supposed to sound.
Does it worth buying (if you didn't get it with an iDevice)? Of course.

    Weak cord

I listen to music with the EarPods daily. My problem is, with all this use the wire gets very worn much too fast. It's the same problem with the charger cords. They fray where they bend. The quality of sound and how they fit are great but buying a new pair of EarPods every six months doesn't satisfy.

    REVIEW

these apple earpods are great for sound but they don't fit my ear and don't feel snug. Also they feel hard and aren't comfortable.

i don't know why they don't have silicone padding or something but the shape of these earpods do not fit people who particularly small ear holes...

two stars for sound and the ability to use the ear pod to talk while on the iphone
