If I could I wouldn't even give it one star!!!

These earphones are really really really bad!! Apple HAS to do something to fix their quality! It's actually quite impressive a company known for its high quality to deliver such poor quality product like these earphones! I have had three so far and NONE of them lasted more than a year. First it starts with the remote, it starts to act funny, making the volume to go up and down without even pressing it and then eventually they will stop working.
You would think for such expensive price they would last for quite a long time, but no, they don't AT ALL!! It's so disappointing, frustrating and annoying!
Well, I guess I'm not the only one complaining about it, there are so many bad reviews here and still Apple is doing nothing. Great job, guy!

    Makes Clicking Noise

I purchased the EarPods with great confidence and have been sorely disappointed. The left EarPod makes a clicking noise as if it's trying to connect something internally (in the wires maybe?). It only clicks when I walk, but considering I use the headphones on my walk to the train, while I'm working out, etc., it is VERY annoying. The clicking is loud enough to overpower the entire music/podcast I have playing. I am an Apple person, but my confidence has been lost in this product.

    Not great for smaller ears

While the sound quality is fine, these don't actually fit in my ears. I can get them to stay if I'm not moving, but any kind of activity is out of the question. Moreover, my ears start to hurt after about 10 minutes of wearing them, I think due to them not sitting as they should. Although the aesthetics are nice, visually speaking, they are of little use to me. It would be nice if future models took size variation into consideration. People with small ears should probably look for in-ear buds with the switchable tips.

They are the best!!! I had no problems with them and I find them good! Once you use them for a while, they become inferior, but otherwise the sound is crisp. I love them!

new pair makes Siri constantly turn on

My previous pair of apple ear phone eventually broke, but it was my fault for running in the rain. My new pair makes Siri turn on every 5 seconds. I can't stand it. I even turned off Siri and then voice control comes on. My old ones don't do this but only one ear bud is still functional. So frustrating.

    Won't stay in my ears.

5 stars for the sound, 1 star for constantly falling out of my ears.

The sound is great, and the quality seems good. If these stay in your ears, they're a pretty good deal. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

    They don't last long :(

After a few months the weight of the microphone or any movement of the cable causes the right earbud to crackle or cut-out completely for a split second.
I have already had my initial set with my iPhone 6 replaced, ill be taking these back to a store to see if I can get these replaced too.

Size comfortable and sound quality is very good.

2nd one that broke off in my computer!!!

These are really junky yet expensive. This is the second one that has BROKEN OFF in my computer necessitating the tricky super-glue-on-the-end-of-a-shorn-qtip maneuver.

And so expensive!!! For such crumby quality!

I think I will not get a third pair, just not worth it.

Seemed unlikely, but I love them

If these are the same model that came with 6s, I love them. I don't like earbuds (and until now, never have)! When I saw the ones that came with the iPhone 6s I thought, "I'll stick with what I got." About 2 days later what I had went AWOL. I took them with me for lack of options. As uncomfortable as they might appear, they are probably the best earbuds I have ever had. I have read some of the other reviews. For a some they don't fit their ears. I also saw a couple saying something about the durability. I can't speak to the durability. I keep them in the case that was provided with them, and I guess I just have the golden ratio for the size of ear canal. I can't judge everyone because our activities and basic body dimension vary greatly. I will venture this much! If your a male of medium build around 5'9" this might be a relatively inexpensive antidote to your in-private listening needs.

Not like they used to be

For years, Apple headphones were made with a very rubbery material that was more flexible than most. However, the last pair I picked up feels extremely cheap. The plastic cable is extremely stiff, which makes it very difficult to coil them neatly before stuffing in your pocket. I don't want to spend 10 minutes untangling headphones each time I pull them from my pocket, so I'm very disappointed in the design change. I'm also very disappointed to find that Apple has made a design change without letting consumers know. Clearly, it's not an improvement or they would have trumpeted it.

I won't be buying Apple headphones any more.

I just got them but they seem great!

Comfortable fit, great bass for the little guys, priced well, crystal clear, and light. Light yet durable is ideal, time will tell.

They are good but not for thirty dollars , they have a good bass but a bad treble making it hard to hear a variety of music .

    Great Headphones

I am not an audiophile but I can very well distinguish good headphones from bad ones and these are the good type. There are few things that matter when I look at headphones.
    1) Sound Quality - 5 stars - this is the most important criteria for me - and I had many different brands (entry level and more mid level) headphones and so far these are my favorite. If I would need to buy new headphones I will not hesitate and go straight for another pair of these.
    2) Long term use comfort - 5 stars - at work I wear the headphones without a need to ever take them off - after wearing them for 2 - 3 min they feel like a part of me.
    3) Long lasting - 5 stars - I've used mine for just over two years now - traveled 3 continents with it and wore them almost every day - and they're still like new!

Comes with my iPhone 6s a very decent pair of earphone

I think it is better than the ones from Beats. It fits perfectly in my ear, and the sound quality is terrific. But according to my past experience, the sound quality quickly wears off as you continue to use.

    So bad

I just cannot believe Apple designed these and claims them to be more comfortable than the standard earphones. These earphones came with my very expensive 6S and to my horror they do not fit in my ears at all! They keep falling out! And when they do fit, it hurts so much to have them on for more than a few minutes! So bad...I am having trouble digesting the quality of this product. And people, they do NOT come free with the phone. You have paid for it. It is just that Apple , again, chose to rip us off by providing ill-designed, sub-standard earphones with the phone. Com on now, these are for human ears...a little bit of cushioning surely wouldn't hurt? Provide ear buds and have a re-look at how these fit Apple...

    Not made for small ears!

I love the design of them, don't get me wrong, but they don't stay in my ears and really hurt. :(
Great quality, great if you don't have small ears.

Even if they fit, they wear out very fast

Over the years I have been through nearly a dozen pairs of the earbuds from normal use. The lifespan appears to be around 6 months, tops, and the local store staff do not seem at all surprised. On several occasions they have simply looked at the earbuds, seen they have not been abused, and simply handed over a replacement. My latest set came with an iPhone 6+ less than 6 months ago and now any movement of the cable causes the right earbud to crackle or cut-out completely for a split second. The build quality of the earbuds is appalling, mainly due to the cable being so flimsy. Why, oh, why, don't Apple produce a decent, ROBUST, version. They charge a premium for quality, but £25 for new earbuds every few months is appalling when the quality is so poor. I would rather pay £50 for a set that lasts for several years. Style and fit (for me) 5 out of 5, value for money ZERO.

    I miss the old ones

I have small ears and these earbuds hurt to wear for more than 30 seconds. They also fall out very easily. When I first bought a device that came with these, I just ordered a pair of the previous style which were perfect for my ears. Now Apple doesn't carry that style anymore. These don't work, and the kind with rubber that goes in the ear canal doesn't work for my tiny ears either. I wish Apple would bring back the old style. Now I have to buy cheap knockoffs of that style that break easily, because it is the only shape of earbud I can wear.
