    Great Headphones, With exceptions

These are great headphones for the price tag. One of the main issues that I believe people have with them, is that they put them in wrong. After I had figured out how to properly place them in my ear, I lose the acoustic leakage, and they become great little gadgets. Granted, some things are not always good for everybody, I find them quite delicate and have broken the wires in mine already(about 4-5 months). If you are willing to learn how they are supposed to go in your ear, then you will be impressed with the sound quality.

    Great Sound but problems

These headphones are great. They have way better sound then prev headphones. The remote works great. But, about 2 weeks after I got them my Jack developed a short. So my left earbud is the only one that's working.

I'll take it for $30; I like the headphones!

I'll take it! Miss my Bowers&Wilkins C5... Waiting on the B&W P3! Great Apple headphones though!

    Very good quality headphones

The new EarPods by Apple are much better than the previous earbuds. I have used them day in and day out for 2 weeks and they are amazing headphones but if you're willing to spend more than $30 there are much better headphones out there. They are definitely the best headphones you'll get for $30 dollars.

They feel like clouds in my ears but there is an obvious imbalance of sound

I love these headphones because they are so comfortable however there is one problem. These headphones (at least mine) have an imbalance of sound meaning one earpod is louder than the other. I have 2 pairs of beats and I have decided to switch back to them.

    Headphone Jack

The sound is very good, especially for the price, and they are a thousand times better than the old earphones, but my only complaint is the jack. The headphone jack that goes into your iPhone/iPod, etc., bends and that affects sound after a while. Give it a stronger jack and this will seriously become the best pair of headphones I've ever had.

    Amazing Sound!!

Apple has done a really good job (as usual) in making an amazing piece of hardware.

    - Sound is amazing (Rich Balanced Bass + Very good Mids + amazing highs)
    - Nice bigger in-line remote
    - Nice Case (although I don't use it)
    - Looks Durable and very precise built
    - Delivers the Audio Quality of In-Ears but they don't seal like them
    - I had to do a custom silicon mold (to hold them in my ears, because of my ears cavity shape)
    - I gave 4 Stars, because I wish they had an optional silicon fit, to fit ears like mine!

I'm using them instead of the (Apple in-ears), for music, movies and even gaming.

People who know me took my recommendation and bought them, and they are very satisfied.

IF THEY WILL FIT PERFECTLY IN YOUR EAR, DON'T WASTE TIME, BUY THEM; BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY GOOD VALUE FOR THE COST

    Improvement.

These ear buds correct a particular flaw in all previous Apple ear buds, namely audio direction. Old Apple ear bud speakers were directed towards the center of the skull, essentially just facing skin and cartilage. These direct the audio slightly forward, more directly towards the ear canal as it should be. Noticeable difference.

    Impressed but can't run

The sound quality is far superior to the previous iteration. I enjoy the new features and the limited noise leakage. The downside, I cannot run with these without them falling. With that being said, they are far more comfortable than the old ones.

    Fantastic Improvement Over Previous Model

These came with my iPhone 5, and while I already have a pair of quality headphones (Klipsch Image S4i), Apple Earpods are significantly more impressive than the tired-but-true Earphones from the 2000's.

The remote and microphone speak for themselves; both work very well. The Earpods are very impressive in the way they handle Mids (Treble and Bass being on each end of the spectrum). As with its predecessor, the Earpods lack bass, and seem to have difficulty handling extreme trebles. However, the overall sound quality is very nice for Apple 'phones, and I would be hard-pressed to find a better sounding pair for the price. Not to mention, these are significantly more comfortable to wear than the Earphones.

I recommend listening to these genres while using the EarPods (w/o EQ):
    Country/Acoustic
    Classical/Opera
    Rock/Progressive Rock
House/EDM/Trance (this is because these subsets of Electronic music aren't entirely bass heavy)

I do not recommend the following types of music while using the EarPods (w/o EQ):
    Rap/R&B
    Dubstep/Electronic (that's bass heavy)
    Reggae
    Thrash/Industrial/Punk Metal

    Properly good product

I had accidentally blasted this on full for like a split second but since the new speaker cones are made out of paper it didn't blow like the plastics one do. I think now that it sounds good your music better be clear! I hate the hissing noise that I now notice because I can actually hear it.

    Could be better

Very good sound quality but lots of sound gets in and more gets out, comfortable but only for so long, to hard, don't fit right, speakers go on and off, other than that, nice sharp bass and good echo, can get very loud, and most usually have good sound quality. To be better the shape could be changed a little, gel instead of plastic, better speakers, louder, less escaped sound, clearer sound and better listening quality. Sorry if this review is bad i think highly of apple and love the products just trying to help apple help the buyers!

    Mic and volume

I got a problem with my earpods, we know that if we press twice it should move to the next song, but sometimes it is not accurate, it stops when I press twice. Is it really that? But overall, the design is very comfortable and presentable. Clear and loud sounds produced.

the best earbuds that I've ever used.

I plugged them up plugged them in and I was astounded by the sound. It was really clear and it delivered a great bass. Then I got an itch to try something new so I went out and brought a couple of different earbuds to see the differences. The earpods from Apple were better than or on par with earbuds that cost way more. Needless to say I returned them and I'm back with my earpods.

    Amazing

The new ear pods are phenomenal. The sound is rich, crisp, and the sound is so well distributed that I can hear things with these that I never heard before in the same song with other earbuds. They make me feel like I am able to enjoy my music at a deeper level.

The fit is interesting, I wasn't sure at first but now I love them, they stay in place and fit well.

    Good product

These earpods are good for sound and bass but ....... After a few hours they shock my ears nothing serious but I would prefer ear pods that don't shock my ears.

    Ah-MAZING

These headphones are well worth the $29 dollars that they are. The sound is incredible; I can hear every part of my songs and it feels like heaven. Plus, they stay in my ear far better than the regular Apple headphones or any for that matter. The case is very adorable and portable and it saves me the trouble of getting a tangled mess.

I bought these headphones on my birthday this past Black Friday for $22. I had my original pair until this month. I did trade them in for new ones at the store because it began to spark and sting my ear which brings me to a rating of 4 out of 5.

Very good, but not great. Nice sound, has design flaw.

SUMMARY: The earpods are a much needed improvement from Apple's previous earphones. They offer truly great sound for the price but the design doesn’t fit as advertised.

DETAILS: When you compare the sound of these earpods to premium sound alternatives (Bose, etc.), you will get just as good sound but at a very attractive price. I use the earpods pretty much everywhere: the gym, while waiting at an appointment, when I’m out and about...wherever I want without a problem. But I must comment on the disappointment I feel with the fact that, just like the previous earphones, the earpods still fall out of my ear. I’m not alone in having this experience. And what got me really disappointed was that they were advertised to stay in the ear better. That has not been my experience. However, if you want a really great listening experience, and don’t mind occasionally having to put the earpods back in your ear...purchase the earpods! My recommendation to Apple is that they have something similar to the Bose StayHear® clips.

Overall good, but could use improvement

These earphones are great. The sound quality is so much better than the old ones, and others can't hear what you are listening to (like the old ones). However, I do find that these earphones don't last very long. Apple should find a way to improve durability so that they last longer.

    Good Set

These are a way better set of head phones then previous sets that Apple was distributing with there devices. They fit well and don't fall off when I run. Sound quality is not great, but its not horrible. There don't have much base, but they are clear. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.
