    Powerful, Immersive Sound

Delivers the deep bass and impressive range of acoustics typical of ear-muffs, despite its low-profile and unassuming weight. Easy-access side buttons add convenient functionality. Premium headphones at an affordable price is tough to top.

    Uncomfortable and Slippery

These are the most uncomfortable ear buds I've put in my ears, ever! They were actually kind of painful like something was poking the inside of my ear. They also don't stay in my ears very well when working out. As soon as I start to sweat, out they come. Seriously, I like the older style ear pods with the foam covers. Those stayed in my ears. Since then, I've purchased other brands with silicone inserts. The softer silicone is much more comfortable and they stay in.

    Not Bad

I have very small ears so I was surprised when these fit my ears because no earbuds really ever fit. All around sound is like a 6.5-7. Nothing to be shocked about. But probably one of the best Earbuds that you get with a phone.

    One star is too much

I would give a zero if I could. I'm very surprised Apple hasn't reinvented these yet, especially with new lighting connector style and wireless version coming out. These are a very poor fit for all ears. Without some type of foam or rubber to hold them in place, they dislodge and fall out. If you "jam" them in your ear, they stay in place if you are perfectly still and are very uncomfortable. The moment you move, they dislodge. If you set them in the crook of your ear without pushing them in, the sound quality is not as good and they fall out even easier. I have a desk job and am constantly manipulating these to put them back in my ears. No wonder a bunch of folks have come up with attachments to hold them in your ear. Hmm... That may be the Apple goal... Create a separate market for the modification of their cruddy earpods.

I'm in the market for better earbuds... any recommendations anyone?

    Earbud fit

Hate these! I liked the old version better that comes with comfort and different size additions for fit and comfort. These are not beneficial for people with smaller ears and hurt!

    Great EarPods!

These EarPods are thin and light. You can hear well. In the other hand, they get dirty easily but, another beneficial factor is that you can also use them as an eraser for your pencils. Thanks Apple!

    There very creative

Unlike earphones which use suction to stay in one's ear, Apple's EarPods are shaped to fill your ear so there not distracting. There by far my absolute favorite ear audio device.

Good sound, terrible design and poor fit.

Ok I reviewed the wrong ear phones. These are standard ones that come with a phone and ipod. They are terrible. They look nice and have good sound, BUT the FIT is TERRIBLE. They will not stay in my ears, and I HATE the different left and right ear bud. I am always checking to see which is left and right. Why not make them the SAME!!! I guess this is just a way for Apple to up sell and make people buy a new set of ear phones.

    They keep falling out!

These little fellas keep sliding out of my ear! I can't walk around for longer than 5 minutes before I have to adjust them to stop them from falling out. In terms of sound quality, they're okay but definitely not better than beats in my opinion as stated in some reviews on here.

Always stops working after 2 months of use.

They always stop working in at least one earbud after 2 months. My dad swears up and down that Apple is the best so he only allows for me to purchase their products. I usually have to call them and let them know I'm having problems. And what they say I should do never helps.

    Total Failure

The left EarPod never really worked, apart from the occasional vibrations and sharp, crass screeches! Totally disappointed! Would have rated no stars if that was an option!

These are my favorite headphones... BUT!

I love these headphones, I find them comfortable and exactly what I need for my day to day. However, I will stress that I believe $30 is a bit pricey. I say this because these headphones do have a way of deteriorating quickly over time. If the price were lower, then these would have a 5 star review from me, easily.

Amazing just like all apple products

When you buy Apple products you always get the best for your money. I LOVE APPLE EARPODS!! The sound is great and they last for so long. I am not a person who is gentle with things and these lasted me a 18 months. So to sum it all up always buy Apple products they are reliable and durable. #appleCEOfor2k16

Sound quality varies depending on your unit. Very clean.

I use my ATH m50s as a reference to compare it to the earpods. The earpods sound very balanced with a slight tint on the treble and a slight boost in the mid range. It does sound a little bit grainy sometimes and lacks detail when in direct comparison. You have to keep in mind that the M50s can range from 90-150$ depending on the seller. The earpods have a balanced bass extension and a good overall body with a hint of "Liveliness".It sounds really spectacular on the new iPhone SE (I suspect this is an improved version of the Iphone 5s's sound chip as it sounds very similar) that it shipped with. I have an old Iphone 4S lying around and it sounded thin in comparison. This may be a problem if you have an older phone and want to experience the same audio quality.

I do not consider myself a professional of such but I am somewhat of an audio "Freak". I have multiple good amplifiers and DACS lying around so I thought It would be a good idea to compare them to the output on the iphones just for fun. I have realized that apple's products actually do have exceptional sound chips inside their products. I can't really say I heard much of a difference between the dac in my iphone and the more expensive DACS except for an improvement in sound-staging and dynamics when directly compared. You can find measurements of the DACS inside the iphones and they are surprisingly good (On paper). It's a disappointment to know that they are considering taking away the 3.5mm jack on the upcoming phones.

    Bad design

Don't stay in the ear so they hang loose not letting any base get into the ear, resulting in sound that is far too bright. Music sounds bad, and voice like audiobook actually hurt your ear to listen. Luckily they fall out completely with any amount of walking so you don't have to suffer for long.

I would never pay money to get a replacement for them

I just opened them out of the box not even ten minutes ago, and I already have to twist them in order to bring the sound back. They immediately started cutting out. Honestly, my old headphones that I got 3 years ago with my HTC m7 still work amazing and have never given me any problems. So I would gladly buy those again (if I had to pick between the two). Save yourself the money and literally get any pair of headphones from Wal-Mart/Target/etc. once your headphones die. I feel like Apple headphones used to be a lot better back in the day, but recently the quality has changed. Or that's how it feels to me.

Wiring problem - sound cuts out intermittently

I read the reviews of this product, both good and bad, and decided to give it a try. I was very disappointed to find that the cord has a defective connection at the plug-in connector so that the sound cuts out intermittently. This was right out of the box. I expect better quality control when buying Apple products.
