    Save your money

To bad the warranty is only for one year. On my second set in three months. The right speaker went out in two months, the left speaker is out in less than one month on second set. Have also experienced several shocks. Headed to the Apple Store this week for set number three. Apple needs to recall this product!!!

Do not buy into this hype...

I do alot of physical work at my job and I keep going through the regular 30 dollar earbuds. I thought that becasue these were more expensive that that they would be better but they are not. They actually sound terrible and the bass is not even there. Trust me look for some better head phones these are not worth it.

    Don't recommend them

I have been a fan of any apple products but this one really disappointed me. I've had 2 pairs so far because the audio would do its own thing. The left side would go out and I wouldn't know what to do and then magically it started to work again. I will say that they feel amazing and the sound is great (sometimes) but if you put the ear bud in your ear to far the audio will sound a little weird so you have to be gentle with putting them in. Can't just pop them in and go. Sad that this was my first time buying a bad apple product :(

    Terrible.

I was in a hurry and wanted some great headphones. Apple usually does a great job so I bought these without doing too much research. Huge mistake. My left earphone is popping so much that it feels like it is shocking me. Seriously. And yes, these do not stay in your ears. If and when they move around in your ear the already poor sound quality is affected, forcing you to move them around constantly to try and find the sweet spot in your ear.

I bought these 5 days ago. Will try and return these at the Apple Store ASAP.

    Really bad earphones

The classic earphones from Apple always pleased me, so I had high hopes to these in ear that cost around 2,5 times more.
I bought them at the Apple Store and returned them within 10min, the quality is truly awful. Tried the different sized earplugs, the free headphones you used to get on a plane beat these earphones (I thought I just had a broken pair, so I changed it for new ones, still the same!) . I was blown away by the extremely low quality even if they were 10€.. Apple, improve or get rid of this product it's pulling the brand down.. Never experienced such a disappointment from the brand.. you can't spend your money more badly then buying these things

    Don't stay in your ears

I received these headphones as a gift about 3 weeks ago and I was very excited to use them and thought that it would be better then a single ear headphone. I tried the 3 size of buds provided and they just don't stay in my ear. I want to say that I have pretty normal ears, but these buds just slide out as soon as you move you head. It is very frustrating and now I'm not even using them because I get frustrated that they fall out all the time.
I want to change them, but not sure if they take them back

    Disappointed

They are not confortable to wear.
The seals dont hold in ears
So I think this is a bad product compared to other Apple products, and for this range of price.

Terrible - won't stay in, plugged-up and broken

These headphones are terrible. The multi-sized silicone covers are either too big (won't go in your ear) or too small (doesn't form a seal and comes out). Worse, once the cover came of IN MY EAR and a co-worker had to take it out with a pair of pliers. That was 3 years ago. I can't believe Apple still carries them. I don't have a huge amount of ear wax, but within a month or two, the left one became plugged. I was able to clean it out a few times, but now it has just stopped working due to the damage.

    awful!!!

Shame on you apple!!! these are by far the worst headphones that I had bought in my life. The gel adapters fall off at each wear, lost all of my replacements and the little tiny wire screen from where the sound comes out of, these were obsolete for me, wasted my $79 plus tax because I couldn't even return them, Apple would not take them back!! Very sad about the last one!!!

Not as good as the old ones

Honestly, the best ear buds I ever owned came with my 2007 iPod (classic). The "redesigned" ones that came with my iPhone 4S did not fit my ears as well as the original ones and these again redesigned ear buds are not as good (fit wise) as the other two. The more they tried to improve them, the worse the fit got.

    Worse than the cheaper ones

I definitely like the regular EarPods (which are half the price) a lot better. The sound is better and they're more comfortable. These ones are just not worth the money and I'm sorry I bought them. I don't even use them, I bought another pair of the cheaper ones instead. For ones like this, I'd go spend $10 any place.

They fall out, and they break

I got this pair of earphones two weeks before, and they kept falling off. The sound quality wasn't as good as I expected it to be, and also, now it is BROKEN. The left ear phone kept falling apart, but the wires didn't break until today. This is also how I broke my old apple ear-phones. Too fragile. The sound quality wasn't quite as good as I expected it to be either. To anyone reading this, IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Quality Glaringly Worse than those produced several years prior

When Apple first sold these earbuds, I bought them after a friend recommended them to me. At the time I was so satisfied to discover that Apple had indeed packaged premium sound for under $100. I recently purchased them again after losing a pair of Standard Beats earbuds, and I was utterly shocked with their thin sound production. No exaggeration, these are probably no better than $20 earbuds. I guess after Apple spent all of that money purchasing Beats and developing its marketing campaign they had to cut costs elsewhere. Actually, shame on me for assuming that it would be a good idea to purchase these when Beats is the new face of their audio campaign.

Poor sound quality, don't stay in ear

I agree with the other reviews: the sound quality is no better than the standard apple earbuds. Furthermore, these don't stay in my ear- I even swapped out the plastic tops for size large.

    Terrible quality!

I expected that with such a high price the sound quality would be so much better, I prefer the regular earphones that come with the iPhone but the store I went to was out of stock so I bought these. I honestly should've just paid a bit more money and got a Bose!

    Not worth it

I thought that at $80, these would sound better than the free set that came with my iPhone. Playing the same song on my iPhone, I tried all three sizes of silicone in-ear buds, pushed and held them in as far as I could comfortably handle, and they still didn't have the frequency response of the ear buds that came with my iPhone. They sounded like they were EQ'd for AM radio. Fully unimpressed. If I can't return these for full credit, I would trade them straight up for the cheaper ones.

Last 6 months, Apple will not replace them

Despite the excellent sound quality and great price point for dual-driver headphones, I do not recommend this product. They are extremely fragile, made for aesthetics rather than durability. At six months old I had no audio in the right earphone, and Apple refuses to replace them even though they are in warranty and appear as new condition-they attribute the failure to wear and tear, which is not covered by the warranty. My experience with this one product has tarnished my opinion of Apple, especially their service procedures. To add to the frustration, you cannot obtain extra silicone ear tips for these headphones. They tend to come off easily and do get dirty over time.

    DONT BUY !

Useless purchase - pops out of my ear every few minutes because of the rubber padding. Try it for your ear before you get it... so disappointed. :(

    very unhappy

The plug broke off in my iPad and could not be removed. Because it was deemed to be physical damage to the iPad (less than a year old), the warranty did not cover damage to the iPad.

Earphones no longer useable, and iPad destroyed, no thanks to Apple.

    0 stars for this product.

    Buyer beware!!

I bought 4 pairs of these headphones in November, and now in March, none of them work; barely any sound is audible through the headphones. For $29 + tax, I would never buy Apple headphones again!
