Great when it decides to work

    • Written by from Long Beach

I bought this mouse to help with arthritis and it has helped so far however there are some software issues:

    1. helps with arthritis
    2. easy to clean

    1. it will randomly stop working. i will then plug it into a new USB port but then the scrolling won't work.
    2. the scrolling is very jerky so i had to buy 3rd software call SmartScroll to make it work
    3. i have to regularly reset my PRAM to get the mouse to work again.
    4. sometimes opening the logitech system preferences will freeze your computer.

    OK trackball but...

    • Written by from Newtown

This, and other Logitech trackballs, still doesn't support Snow Leopard. And Logitech won't say if, or when, there might be Snow Leopard support.

So that means awkward tracking, no custom buttons, strange interactions with other companies' input devices (particularly Microsoft mice).
