    Decent purchase

The palmguard was easy to put on. You can unstick it and replace if you place it down incorrectly. It comes in two stickers - the small tracking pad sticker and the bigger sticker. Even though this is supposed to fit my macbook pro 13", the bigger sticker is a little longer on the sides which required me to cut it down a little (hence 4 stars instead of 5). Other than that, the gritty texture that people have been talking about is a non-issue for me; it's not gritty to me. I have not had any trouble with the tracking pad sticker either. I do not have to press down any harder than usual; it is still sensitive. I'm just glad to have something to protect the bottom of my computer which gets awfully dirty.

    Looks great, but bubbles

As others have mentioned, this palm guard is perfectly matched to the Macbook Pro. It fits literally perfectly and even the colour is an exact match. Take the time to fit it exactly, you won't regret it. My problem is that it seems to bubble on the right side. I took the time, I layered it perfectly on the first try and for whatever reason it will occasionally bubble-- especially if I'm sitting outside with it. I didn't even bother with the trackpad cover based on the other reviews. It's a good buy, especially to protect against scratching at the wrist area. I wasn't crazy about the high shipping cost though. It arrived in a huge box when it's really a flat board that could fit in an oversized envelope. Hopefully the shipping costs weren't determined by the size of the box.

Moshi did an awesome job on this. It blends in perfectly, and the fit is great. It was very simple to install...took me only one try. I only hoped Moshi had done a full body one for the MacBook Pro, I would most def get it. I also purchased the Moshi keypad cover...Both products are amazing. Fits well, and not noticeable!

    Great Product!

The store installed it for me, so I don't know how to comment on installation, but it was rather quick.

The colour blends in well with the Macbook Pro Unibody, and I like the texture although it's not as smooth as the main body.

As many have stated you do lose some sensitivity issues on the trackpad, but only for tap to click. You have to apply just slightly more pressure than normal, but you get used to it very quickly. I find that it is easier to use the finger gestures on this surface as well.

    Outstanding Product!!

This is a must have for your MacBook Pro! Very easy to install. It only took me a few minutes to apply to my laptop. The trackpad protector integrates nicely and you won't even notice its there. I would like to see MOSHI add strips for the left and right panels, which is why I only gave 4 stars. That is a minor issue, but some of the other protectors cover the whole front. Still a great buy and product. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

    Not perfect, but definitely useful

I just purchased the 13.3" MacBook Pro to replace my 3-year-old MacBook. One of the main problems I had with my old machine was that after a while, the palm-resting areas on either side of the trackpad became worn and discolored. I'm very into preserving the out-of-box loveliness of my computer, so I was definitely interested in something that would prevent this (without compromising the overall appeal of the computer).

The moshi PalmGuard is the only product available at the Apple Store to do this, and so far, it does its job well. It blends well with the aluminum frame and also fits pretty well (it's definitely NOT a perfect fit, but it's close enough to not be problematic). The PalmGuard also comes with a trackpad cover, which I have not placed after reading reviews stating that it affects the sensitivity of the trackpad, which I believe. The material is definitely thin, but not thin enough to not affect the trackpad. And, because it's NOT attached to the the PalmGuard, it IS optional.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their laptop as pristine as possible.

    Better than expected

I just received my palm guard in the mail. It took me less than five minutes to get it out of the packaging and onto my MBP. For those reviews that say it doesn't fit, they are incredibly picky....I think it fits amazing. Now I don't have to worry about accidentally scratching the palm area of my brand new computer. A bit on the pricy side for a sticker....but overall worth it in my books.

Found an easy way to install it

Luckily I found this video on you tube and it works like a charm. Got mine on perfectly
Search for "Moshi palmguard installation" on youtube. It will not let me post the link here.

My only gripe is the track pad sensitivity is reduced. For scrolling it is fine. If you use "tap to click" you have to tap harder.

    Great product

This is a great product. The fit is almost perfect, much like the moshi iVisor. Although it is not designed to remove, if you are careful, you can pull it off as you are applying it to make adjustments...just BE CAREFUL if you need to do this. I will confirm the track pad feels rougher with the protection on it, but I have not had any problems with sensitivity. I find the feel of the palm rest to be pleasant, it is a bit rougher, but more of a tactical feel. Color match is spot on. Obviously there is a difference between aluminum and vinyl, so I am not going to say you cannot notice it. It blends in well overall, however. If you are looking for a palm rest protector, you will not be disappointed here.
