About iDVD 5.0.1 This update addresses issues related to general stability and compatibility with iPhoto slideshows and iMovie HD. iDVD 5.0.1 also provides compatibility for systems with SuperDrives that support the burning of double-layer DVDs (DVD+R DL). This update is recommended for all iDVD 5.0 users. System requirements To install iDVD 5.0.1, you need: Macintosh computer with a 733MHz G4 or faster processor 256MB of physical RAM (512MB recommended) Mac OS X v10.3.4 or later Display with at least 1024 x 768 pixel resolution QuickTime 6.5.2 or later For optimum performance, update your system software to the latest version of Mac OS X and QuickTime. To make sure you have the latest versions, choose Apple (?) > System Preferences and click Software Update. Click Check Now or Update Now to retrieve updates for your system. After you install an update, it's a good idea to click Check Now or Update Now again to make sure you've received all the updates that are available. You must have a connection to the Internet to use Software Update. Installing iDVD 5.0.1 Updater iDVD 5.0.1 Updater will update your iDVD version 5.0 if it is in your Applications folder and you have not changed its name. You need an administrator password to install this software. The administrator's name is shown in the Accounts or Users pane of System Preferences.
