Check spelling in your photo book

You can check the spelling of any text you add to your photo book. First, select the text to check. From the Edit menu, choose Spelling, and then choose Check Spelling from the submenu that appears. It’s always a good idea to check your spelling before printing or ordering your photo book.

Print or save your photo book as a PDF file

Now that you’ve created your photo book in iPhoto, you can print it out yourself. You can share it with anyone you want by printing as many copies as you want, anytime you want. Another option for sharing it is to save it as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file, which you can send in an email message or copy to a CD or DVD. This way, it can be read by anyone who has Adobe Acrobat Reader. To make the PDF file, in the Print window, click Save As PDF. Type a name for the file, choose a location to save it, and then click Save. A file will be created on your hard disk.

Send photo books to different people

When you order your photo book, you can have it sent to anyone you choose. To add an additional shipping address, in the Order Book window, choose Add New Address from the Ship To pop-up menu. In the window that appears, type the new address, click OK, and then in the Edit Account window, click Done. This address will now appear in the Ship To pop-up menu on the ordering page.

Steps

Create a new photo book

1. In iPhoto, select a group of photos or an album you would like to make into a photo book.
2. Arrange the photos in the order in which you want them to appear in your photo book and then click the Book button.
3. Choose a book type from the Book Type pop-up menu and then select a theme from the list.
4. When you have selected the one you want, click Choose Theme.
5. In the window that appears click Automatically, to have iPhoto layout the book for you.
6. Notice your book appear in the iPhoto window and Source list.
