With the iTunes Store, it’s easy to share your love of music and books. Gift a favorite audiobook to a friend, or let your loved ones choose new music for themselves with gift certificates and iTunes Cards.

Tips

Recovering lost gift certificates

If your friend misplaces the gift certificate you gave, you can resend it. Click the Account button to access your account, and sign in. Click Purchase History to see all of your purchases, including gift certificates. Click the arrow icon next to the gift certificate you want to resend, verify your friend’s email address, and then click Resend.

Buying and redeeming gift certificates

Click Gift Certificates on the Music Store homepage to buy a gift certificate for a friend or redeem one you’ve received. When you buy a gift certificate, you can choose how to deliver it—print it yourself, have it sent by mail, or have iTunes email it.

Steps

Give a specific album or song

Find the album or song you want to give.
Click Gift This Music.
Click Gift Album or Gift Song next to the album or song you want to give.
Enter the recipient’s information, and click Continue.
The recipient will receive an email with instructions of how to get their album or song. (Recipients will need to install iTunes, if they don’t already have it installed.)
