When youre finished designing your website, and youre ready to share your work with your friends and family, publishing is just one click away.
To publish your site to .Mac you must have a .Mac membership or a trial membership. Enter your .Mac account information in the .Mac System Preferences window, and iWeb will use those settings when you click the Publish button.
After you publish your website youll see a button called Announce. Click this button and youll open an email message that you can use to let people know about your new site. Anyone who has access to the Internet can visit your site.
You can also restrict your site to only those who have a user name and password. Go to the Site Inspector and click the Password tab. Here you can enter the user name and password you want visitors to use in order to gain access to your site.
