Once youve published your site, youll probably want to make changes and create new content. With iWeb, its easy to add pages to a site youve already published.
An About Me page is great for sharing information about yourself including your favorite music, photos and websites.
You can create a text hyperlink that opens a webpage or a new email message, or that downloads a file. You can also drag a URL from the address field in Safari to iWeb to create a link to that webpage on your website, or you can drag a page from the Site Organizer to the Webpage Canvas to create a link to that page. To add a text hyperlink, use the Link Inspector to convert selected text into a hyperlink. Click Inspector in the toolbar, and then click the Link Inspector button. In the Link Inspector, select "Enable as a hyperlink," and then choose an option from the Link To pop-up menu.
You can turn any object into a hyperlink that opens a webpage, a file, or a new email message. Select the shape, image, or movie you want to turn into a hyperlink. Click Inspector in the toolbar, and then click the Link Inspector button. In the Link Inspector, select "Enable as a hyperlink," then choose an option from the Link To pop-up menu. Objects that are hyperlinks have a blue arrow in the lower-right corner. You can drag a page from the Site Organizer to a thumbnail image to create your own navigation to that page or you can drag a URL from the address field in Safari to a photo to create a link to that webpage.
