About The Template Chooser

The Template Chooser provides a quick way to create new documents, open existing files, and access Pages templates that are already set up with text, pictures, and other formatting options.

By default, the Template Chooser appears when you open Pages or choose to create a new file. However, you can change your Pages preferences to open a default template without showing the Template Chooser whenever you open a new document.
