In Krizia's own words:

“The message I wanted to portray through this song are the feelings one gets when meeting someone or when having been with someone for a long time. It is the realisation that a person needs or loves the other and the questions which are asked when recognising these feelings. I also wanted to convey the feelings of anxiety and longing for the person whether they realize it or not. It is the complex emotional bundle of love and longing.

The musical inspiration came from musicians I have been listening to, such as Bonobo, Emilie Simon, Camille etc. By trying to understand what they have been doing with their music and critically analysing the instrumentation used I have inspired myself from various elements of the previously mentioned artists. In effect I have used reverse engineering techniques to develop a deeper inspiration from other musicians.”
