When you purchase a qualifying Mac or Apple display from an Apple Retail Store, you can participate in the Apple Recycling Programme. Purchase any qualifying electronic equipment at an Apple Retail Store and receive free recycling of your old computer and monitor at any Apple Retail Store within 30 days — regardless of manufacturer1. And if you can’t bring it in, you can take it to a municipal collection point. Visit www.recycle-more.co.uk to find your nearest collection point.
You can also bring your existing iPod to an Apple Retail Store at any time. A free iPod recycling programme, conducted through Apple’s retail stores, offers environmentally friendly disposal and a 10 percent discount on the purchase of a new iPod2. Apple Retail Stores also take back old mobile phones for free recycling — with or without the purchase of an iPhone.
Purchasing from the Apple Online Store?
Apple is a member of the UK distributor take-back scheme. This means that you have the option to return your Apple electronic equipment to a municipal collection point. Visit www.recycle-more.co.uk to find your nearest collection point.
