Coming to a Web page near you

My iTunes widgets can be embedded on any Flash-enabled Web site, including most blogs and social-networking profiles*.

You can also use the My iTunes feed with any standard RSS or ATOM feed reader. Most feed readers require that you simply paste the feed URL in a special section to view your updated activity.

    The artists whose music you’ve purchased the most from the iTunes Store.

Here’s how

You’ll need to have iTunes installed on your computer and a free iTunes Store account in order to use My iTunes. If you do not already have iTunes installed, you can download it here.

  • Enable My iTunes

    First, sign in to your iTunes Store account. Then click Enable My iTunes to enable the feeds that power your widgets.

  • Get the code

    Select the My iTunes widgets or feeds you’d like to generate and click Get HTML Code.

  • Preview and paste

    Once your widget is just right, click Copy to save the code onto your computer’s clipboard.

    Then edit your personal site or profile and paste the code wherever you’d like the widget to appear.

* Some Web sites do not allow users to place certain widgets on their profiles. If your My iTunes widget does not work properly on your Web site, please contact your social-networking provider’s help centre.
