How to create a virtual colour proof
- Choose the menu Edit>Convert to Profile
- In the dialogue box, go to Destination Space, then choose your output device profile under CMYK Profile
- Go to Conversion Options and choose Apple CMM
- Choose an Intent. We recommend either Relative colorimetric or Absolute colorimetric, depending upon which best renders the colour you want to print. You can preview both options in this dialogue before making a decision.
- Check the Black Point Compensation box
- Click OK
- Save the file with a new name and send to your client for review.
