With the Reuse and Recycling Programme, you could turn your old equipment into a brand-new Mac, iPod, iPhone or iPad.
Whether it’s an iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC computer, working or not, we’ll take it and determine if it qualifies for reuse and has a monetary value. If it does, the amount will be credited directly into your bank account. If it doesn’t, you can recycle it responsibly through one of our free recycling programmes.
How to get started:
- Tell us about your device.
Only iPhone, iPad, and Mac or PC desktop and notebook computers qualify for the Apple Reuse and Recycling Programme.
- Get your estimate and ship your device.
The service is provided by Dataserv,1 who will estimate the fair market value of your device. They will send you a pre-paid shipping label.2 You can then pack your device carefully and send it for verification.
- The amount is sent directly to your bank account.
After entering the relevant information on the Dataserv web portal, the monetary value of your device will be transferred into your bank account and you can use it to purchase a brand-new Mac, iPod, iPhone or iPad.

When you purchase a qualifying Mac or Apple display from an Apple Retail Store or Apple Premium Reseller, you can participate in the Apple Recycling Programme. Purchase any qualifying electronic equipment and receive free recycling of your old computer and monitor at any Apple Retail Store or Apple Premium Reseller within 30 days — regardless of manufacturer.3
