Compose a song.
Pull a cool beat and catchy melody out of you head and make your own song. In the Music Workshop, you’ll learn everything you need to know to become an instant rockstar. WIth GarageBand and a MIDI keyboard, you get to play bass, electric guitar, drums and sing your own lyrics. You’ll even explore iTunes and see how to sync an iPod. And after your standing-room-only concert, you’ll walk off stage with your latest hit on CD to share with your screaming fans back home.
This workshop is geared for kids with beginner to advanced computer skills who are aspiring musicians and music enthusiasts.
The Music Workshop is free but space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Check availability now

What to Bring
Campers must bring along a signed Summer Camp Permission Statement (PDF) and copy of their registration confirmation to attend.
Please remember, all campers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the Camp Workshop.
If you have an Apple laptop running Mac OS X and wish to bring it, you can; however, it is not required. Your Apple Store will supply all the necessary computers.
Please bring a few of your favourite CDs to work with. Sample CDs will also be available for demonstration purposes.
What You’ll Receive
Campers will receive a CD/DVD with their music project burned on it. All campers will also receive a field guide, t-shirt and more fun giveaways.
