However when Apple updated IOS to 9.2 it stopped working and they haven't bothered fixing it. None of the inputs work without unbearable popping and clicking noise ( I now have a device that hasn't worked for 8 weeks, pretty poor. Even more galling is apogee continue to advertise this device as compatible with iOS when it's not

WARNING: DOESN'T WORK WITH GARAGEBAND ON iPAD 3rd GEN

This is a good product. Unless you're the unhappy owner of an iPad 3, that is. There's a mysterious problem when you put an iPad 3 together with an Apogee ONE f This is a good product. Unless you're the unhappy owner of an iPad 3, that is. There's a mysterious problem when you put an iPad 3 together with an Apogee ONE for iPad and use Garageband. And I and a fair few other people have reported this to Apogee, who say it's Apple's problem because the ONE works with Garageband on every other type of iPad and iPhone. So I then went on to I report the problem to Apple. Who knows if anyone's read it or if they're ever going to do anything about it. You never can tell because nobody from the Apple core ever gets back to you! So, even tho I'm only giving the Apogee ONE 2 out of 5, apparently if you use another DAW app other than Garageband on your iPad 3, it doesn't make the horrible noise. I wasn't prepared to fork out more money on apps to find out, so I can't tell you if that's true or not. Hoping for an Apple fix reeeeeeal soon!
