  • Overview

    Performance and power

Inspired by LeBron James, the Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats2 Wireless headphones are exceptionally light and deliver the power of dual-driver acoustics to propel you through rigorous workouts.

    Designed to endure

The IPX-4 sweat- and water-resistance rating means Powerbeats2 Wireless are tough from the ear bud to the tangle-free cable wrap around. There's also over-molding on the RemoteTalk for a no-slip grip when you’re changing volume, switching tracks, and making hands-free calls.

    More freedom

From the street to the court, Powerbeats2 Wireless gives you the freedom to take your workout anywhere. Wireless Bluetooth lets you connect up to 9 metres from your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Bluetooth-enabled iPod — so you can move freely and stay focused on your workout. A rechargeable battery with 6-hour playback gives you the power to endure to the end. If you’re on empty, a 15-minute quick charge delivers an extra hour of non-stop playback.

I thought at first yes there ok, but you must try the different size ear buds, to really appreciate them. I installed the largest to get the best fit for me and the base is incredible! I don't want to take them out. Can't fault them not had to charge them yet, but only owned them for an hour.I was unsure at first due to the £169.95 price but was assured if I didn't like them I had 14 days to return them. I won't be returning them.10 out of 10 love them!

Poor audio quality, fragile design, too large

If you listen to anything complex, it won't take long to realised the output of these headphones is flat and boring. The stock headphones Apple provide may lack punch, but I think they have a richer range of sound. The build quality is shoddy for the price bracket. My power button didn't click, and there were gaps in the plastic where parts were stuck together (I can't imagine this helps with water resistance..) The Bluetooth can't be problematic too, it picks up external interference very easily, especially during phone calls. My P5's do not have this problem, it is not a Bluetooth issue. Speaking of phone calls - don't bother. The microphone is appalling. Video was an issue too. My P5's sync audio and visual flawlessly. The Powerbeats had noticeable lag, making film watching impossible. Needless to say, I retuned them.

Mixed feelings, but Overall quite happy.

Good: Package arrives on time when said, speedy delivery. Nice packaging. Easy to start up and get going, very strong bluetooth connection. Sound quality is Good: Package arrives on time when said, speedy delivery. Nice packaging. Easy to start up and get going, very strong bluetooth connection. Sound quality is superb. Water resistance is a no brainer with this product, glad they added it. Works AMAZINGLY with my Apple Watch. Bad: Earphones were marked and had this black dust all over them, and a scratch of the side of one. Build quality feels weird at first but when you start using them, you realise why. Fits one ear absolutely perfectly, but the other is a bit off, I think this is a personal problem, so one of my ears must be strange. Takes time getting used to. charging can get annoying. IN CONCLUSION: The negatives are really petty and these earphones are defiantly worth it.
