    Yes - the RingO Holder fits the 3rd generation iPad, and all the functionality is retained, including Smart Cover compatibility.

    Eindhoven, 23 March. Today is the day. Apple’s new iPad goes on sale in the Netherlands. Vogel’s, market leader in audio and video supports, is ready. Since the first iPad was introduced, Vogel’s has been providing systems to mount the tablet on a wall or on a headrest in a car. The new iPad from Apple also fits seamlessly on this mounting system. A new iPad calls for a fresh new approach so Vogel’s shall introduce its latest new products in May. These include a complete tablet solution that includes a flexible support arm.

    Vogel’s introduced its patented mounting system for tablet computers in Autumn of 2010. This system, called RingO, was officially embraced by Apple when it introduced its iPad2. All official Apple stores, online and retail, in Europe and in the U.S. have begun selling the Dutch iPad mounting system.

    Vogel’s manager Albert Zeeman says, “Of course we are extremely proud that Apple decided to sell our system in their stores. With the arrival of the new iPad I’m even prouder of our R&D department. They have designed a system that fits every type of tablet. When we tried out the new iPad this week with our system, we could easily mount it anywhere. That means iPad owners can use their tablet ‘hands-free’ in the kitchen, living room, office and in the back seat of a car during a long trip.”

    Since 2010, RingO has been available for every successful tablet, such as the unrivalled iPad as well as the Galaxy Tab. The system consists of a protective tablet holder with a mounting ring, which can be clicked on to a wall mount, flexible arm and car mount. With this system, iPad owners can easily watch a film in the back seat of a car without tiring their arms or look up a recipe in the kitchen without getting the tablet dirty or knocking it off the table.
