I previously always When I saw the $50 price, I was a bit turned off, but after using it for a few months now, I LOVE this case! I previously always purchased simple, one pocket cases that were neoprene material and they worked. They usually costed between $20-$30 and only lightly protected the computer. I've never dropped my laptop in this case, so I can't speak about the protection on a practical level, but I can assure you that this has more padding than a neoprene sleeve while still being fairly thin and not bulky at all. My favorite features are the ability to use the top pocket for an iPad pouch as well as a place to put my chargers. The bottom pouch is usable for this, but since I keep a case on my iPad and not on my computer, I'm less worried about the chargers scratching anything while traveling with the case. The zipper stays away from the computer itself and the quality is EXCELLENT. I can't stand zippers that get caught all the time, so it's a major plus for me that these are high quality zippers. The computer pouch also has one-finger tabs at the end that are really easy to zip up and doesn't require you to hold down the case and pull the zipper with the other hand. Overall an awesome case, I would highly recommend it, despite its steep price point. It's still a great value.

Look: The outter material offer a nice classy design pattern that would hide imperfection. On most plain single colour sleeve/case, dust, cat hair or whatever need a minor whipdown from time to time even though it is said to be antidust material. The blue plastic zipper holder is beautifully designed. There are many detailed craftsmanship goes into this bag. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with the overall look and feel.

Protection: Compared to a cheapy $12-20 sleeve, this one offered a little bit more padding around the edges although I wish they could add a bit more shock obsorbing material there. 15" Macbook pro retina is a heavy piece of hardware. Don't really want to come back here to give an update. Knock on wood :)

Price: $50 is expensive. I think $40 is a fairer price point but having looked at others which is priced at around $69, this one has better value. The 25 years warranty is impressive.

The quality is unmatched! Current Incase products seem less protective. The Thule case has a handsome and sleek exterior design with just a pop of color on the closure. It fits snugly (not too tight) and protects the MacBook Pro with its plush interior, thick padding, and smart coverage around the zipper.
